Tbh I think the package deal Handsken and Limmp was a bad idea. Thought so when it first happened, and think so now. | ||

AB and Akke being afk, we can still hope that they get that guy miCKe and part ways with the NiP trio. I mean if they continue playing under [A] flag, I'm not sure Loda would sign for a long-term contract. I don't know... We'll see. | ||

1. HANDSKEN: He is not a good player nor a good captain. I mean, who is Handsken to force EGM, one of the best position 4 players in the world to play as a 5th? When was clear that it didn't work out, he persisted in playing the position 4 when clearly the skill isn't there, but even worse, he decided to play Io and Rubik, the best EGM heroes himself instead of giving them to him, that's not smart, creative, or what else... that's plain stupid or arrogant. Please Akke, if you read this, come back ...2. LIMMP: Limmp is not a bad player. Ofc, he's really skilled, a farm-machine and can carry games but.... he's a big big thrower, he's simply not smart. A lot of unnecessary risky buybacks that can turn in a double edge, yolo plays, overconfidence are his weak points and i don't see lots of margins to grow for him, he's a formed player, these were his weaknesses two years ago, no signs of improving on those (he improved in everything else, tho), not the main problem for sure, but not the ray of light needed as well. 3. JONASSOMFAN: Hit or miss player. That's it. He can do a really good game and be the worst player ever existed in the next one, he's the player with most room to grow tho... so i dunno. BUT, you have to compare what we had before.... and the comparison is embarassing for the poor Jonas. The more you watch this iteration of Alliance the more you appreciate Bulldog, for his uniqueness style of farming offlane machine player. He's one of those offlaners that can win you the games alone (lost count of the games he singlehandedly won for us on NP, Sylla, Broodmama or beastmasters), he may not have a huge hero pool, but the heroes he could play he was simply a GOD, a beast who could win you games alone. Only offlaners that comes to my mind who can win you games alone are Universe, Faith Bian, Zai... but not with farming heroes, that's Bulldog uniqueness and i miss him. 4. LODA: i don't understand... in theory Loda should've been the one to benefit the most out of this new roster, cause with Bulldog's absence he could be the fulcrum of the team, he could be the top farmer and possibly he could have a team to work around him. Nothing of that happened, rather we see him even farming LESS than previous iteration, very often in the MIDDLE of networth in the games, very low impact... i can't understand... something clearly not working in Handsken plans... 5. EGM: absolutely wasted, i seriously have headaches watching him sacrificed in a role he isn't clearly comfortable with... and the funny thing is that even if he has to be a ward bitch, he usually ends games with more networth than Handsken... That's my thoughts, and i hope Loda stops being so much influenced by Handsken, wtf, he has never been so accomodating to one player who has proven nothing for now. He forced him to pick Limmp over m'icke, he's forcing him to waste EGM's potential into 5th position and he forces him to still play too many times low impact carries as slardar, naix... Now, what i think Loda should do after this DISASTER, because we have to open our eyes, for the good of this team, these qualifier have been absolutely PAINFUL, and it was really clear since first games that something was wrong within the team. I hope Loda gets back Alliance's reins and kick Handsken, call back Joakim, a real world class support, put EGM back to his position and let him draft and be the captain of the team, he can do it. Then, we need some new young blood, i'd like to see m'icke instead of Limmp, nothing against him, but i honestly think m'icke has a lot of room to grow, he can be a beast if given the time and right enviroment, while i think Limmp has reached his max potential. For the offlane.... i don't know, i love Henrik and i'll be always here for him but i don't even know if at the moment he has the right mindset to play competitive Dota... i think at the moment he doesn't want to, and maybe not with Alliance. Well, i think Jonass can stay then, he has some potential, but he has to improve fast. So, i'd like a Loda-Akke-EGM-m'icke-Jonassomfan/Bulldog lineup ... if this won't happen, i fear we'll float into mediocrity 'till the next majors... i can't understand some people that were bashing the real Alliance when we were constantly a top 10 team in the world (often eliminated in 2-1 series... we could work on our weaknesses Gustav, goddamn why were you so impatient ) and now are so lenient when we just witnessed the WORST result ever reached by Alliance in a Valve tournament (even worse than the TI5 qualifiers, where at least, we still had a chance at the last game of the group). Sorry for the long post but Loda, i love you and i love Alliance, and i hope you read it. Honestly, if they keep this roster and they'll prove me wrong, i'll be happy but for the moment... what i feared, happened. Maybe get Era as a carry and let Loda play offlane. EGM as 4. Pajkatt as new Captain and 5 maybe? | ||
