LGD got invited to sl over NB when NB was clearly a better team and epicenter the one event NB played qualifiers for and dominated hasn't happened yet so its just unfortunate for NB

I hope this doesn't become a permanent thing but rather this one time because of the patch being released so close to the qualifier. The old system was much better imo.

NA : Shazam (I doubt DC has enough chemistry to win the qualifier. Already proven with previous DC iteration)

EU : Empire (I smell some surprise will happen in EU qualifier. Team like Ad Finem actually had a good run against other EU tier 1.5-2 teams)

CN : Newbee (Or EHOME if they can find their performance back)

SEA : The Mongolz (I know u guys didn't watch SEA scene much, but Mongolz actually raped some famous SEA teams lately, and they actually has 2 of 10 highest MMR in SEA)

12 invites lol. These days you just need to place top 4 in a big tournament and get a invite. What a joke, navi, alliance, og and lgd dont really deserve one...

I'd love a system where Valve chose the number of invites based on the number of teams deserving an invite. secret, liquid, eg, mvp all deserve it. wings and vgr won a tournament each, they're in. OG and Na'Vi I feel deserve it. Maybe Alliance because I like the team (if we're assuming I'm Gaben, it's a valid reason). I'm sure you guys can add a couple of teams.
But if you can't find 12 teams deserving an invite, you don't invite non-deserving teams just to fill a spot. Instead you give it to the second teams from qualies, like at TI5.

Can't help but feel LGD is not at all on par with the other invites, and doesn't deserve an invite. And IMHO neither does Newbee
