unbuffed: http://i.imgur.com/MvlVO.jpg with enchantress though buffed (hard target, earth ally, 15%dmg): http://i.imgur.com/aYCGO.jpg but mostly i use overawe items: http://i.imgur.com/25BNx.jpg Res is over 900 if I use the armor with resist but I'm not sure which is better atm. D3 says the one w/o res is better but dno. There are some obvious improvements but I don't see the point until we see how much exactly inferno is gonna be nerfed.

Are you saying you can beat inferno with that gear or you don't know how much more to invest in DPS? Because you should definitely be able to do almost everything with that.

Get your Resist and LoH up a bit... IIRC, I finished Belial with 9k DPS, 5.3k armor, 32k~Hp, 600LoH, 700~ All-resist (Unbuffed but with One with everything) 5 Stack butcher runs don't really reel in the same type of cash they used to two weeks ago, I suggest just keep doing them but Salvage all the mats and sell them on the AH. Inferno essences sell for 2k~ and the Tears for 1k, so you can get around 3k per yellow and 1k per blue you don't sell on the AH

I beat inferno with a bit worse stats than that. I've been doing some farming but got bored of it that's all yeah and before I start upgrading my shield and shit it's important to know if dual wielding is gonna be better or more dps oriented build in general etc.

have been farming inferno ponyland and act 4 for awhile but i find that my build direction is all over the place. i am using a fist and shield, most of my recent upgrades have been extremely expensive (e.g. 7m for a boots that just gave 30+ dex, some resist and armor). was initially planning on purchasing a justice lantern with attack speed to bring my block up to 39% and run mantra of conviction + overawe. i am pretty sure this aura is the best thing a monk can run and any end game gear set should be centered around it. my current aura is MoE + hard target and i am aiming to get my block to comparable levels of dodge (e.g. 40+) and my armor as well (it is currently around 7k unbuffed, i would like it to be 8.5k+) another thing is the issue of life on hit, i basically can't farm efficiently without my current LoH value (900+) and an attack speed of at least 1.60+, the former i think should be incorporated in any end game gear set without weapon dependency, unfortunately.. it is also extremely expensive and i currently have only a base value of about 400+ LoH, i would try to get it up to around 700 at least which would open up my choices for a better weapon (currently using a 900dps, 900 LoH fist) finally, dex, i have always ran with sub par levels of dex (never exceeding 1500) but i think around 2k value of this will meet my goals for armor and cover up some of the dodge lost from running overawe. i would expect around 250+ of this to come from my next (and probably final) weapon and another 200 i can get from getting new shoulders and bracers (both of which have sub par 50+ dex atm) opinions? ideas?

Big issue is MoH, swap it for evasion hard target or overawe. My stats are only minimally better than yours and I can run through act 2 using Conviction-overawe, with only a few scary moments here or there. With the amount of LoH you have I'd consider swapping to FoT-Thunderclap and just healing through everything. Also, use the enchantress, she is far, far more useful than the templar for a melee.

Switch to the dodge/armour mantra, run enchantress as your follower for the armour buff, and make sure you're running keen eye for the armour. Honestly your stats are probably enough to get though act 3 as well. Maybe you're not kiting properly?

And what do you think about using two primary skills? for example FoT w/ thunderclap for mobility and chasing the retarded mobs in A3 inferno, and using keen eye or concussion for better survivability?

Crippling wave is slow and short range, deadly reach is long range and faster. That alone makes it less damage taken than concussion crippling wave.

Defence: Rolling with MoE with Hard Target which I now like ![]() Primary Attack: Played around with a few primary attacks, sticking with Deadliest Reach for now but changed rune to Keen Eye for armour as suggested. I actually prefer this as primary as I can kite better and don't have to stand in pools of lava / poisen + various other deadly and vitality decaying stuff while attacking elites. Did try Thunderclap but man I get headaches with me zipping around the screen, I'm getting to old for games haha. Follower: Now rolling enchantress as entourage with armor buff, though I didn't gear her with enough strength + vitality at first and she just died after a few hits lol. Rings: Got some new rare rings with extra dexterity, vitality and strength which helped base amour and took vitality to 30,000 with earth ally buff. Now 25,479 damage. New Stats: - 10,022 armour with enchantress / 13,000 with Keen Eye (oh yeah so good) - 2.41 Attack Speed with 857 Life per Hit (down from 1043 with MoH + Boon of Inspiration) - 47.1 Dodge / 34 Block / 76.96 damage reduction / 756 all resists Romped through Act II, died three times with boss at bout .1% health before dying ![]() Now in Act III but still hating the crap out of those elites with combined ice bombs, can mirror themselves, can pull you back into their pack, can lock you on the spot, can kill you in almost one hit, has those random in your face walls, and damn those flaming pink lasers !!!!!!! such an overpowered combination for one monk, a women and a transparent man to handle. I also wish blizz had made like a character overview page which had everything and all the stats for your character, your items, your skills and runes all on the one page so you can just take one screen shot. Thanks again and may the best Monk win.

Way of the hundred fists lacks the mobility/attack speed of FoT thunderclap but doesn't have the range of deadly reach either, just pure DPS isn't enough to get it over the other 2. And almost nobody uses foresight on deadly reach, keen eye is so much better. Once attack speed nerf goes through FoT gets even more necessary.
