Makes me feel old knowing that there are some 94/95's in the NHL! Secondly, anyone see that piece tsn did on bobby Ryan and his childhood? Pretty heartfelt and crazy what happened at an early age. There is no excuse for Calgary to have zero loses four games into the season. They should have 4. Battle of Alberta is now in its salty my crap team is better than your crap team phase.

Habs rarely ever win at all when they play the west. The west is too sound in their system-play an for years they have just been pushed around hard by even the western teams considered small pushovers. For example, only win they have against western Canada in last 11 years was against the Oilers 2 years ago... which as an Oiler fan, winning against that Oilers squad kind of like knocking out a three month baby in a streetfight. Sure, you won, and its a good thing you won, but it isn't exactly very brag worthy.

LOOOOOOLLLL Hearing a question to Marleau about Hertl and whether he was showboating, Thornton said: “Shut up, have you ever played the game?” When the press turned his way, he then added: “I’d have my cock out if I scored four goals. I’d have my cock out, stroking it.”

Well, Suter had always been the defensively responsible on eof him and Weber. Weber is a great defender, he is probably the most solid real tough defender since Pronger or Scott Stevens. He also has an offensive ability that IMO is unparalleled in the NHL. If he was in the east I'd say he could score 30-40 goals.

And while the Leafs are a bottom 4 playoff team, in the West they'd get fucked up hard so I think something must be pretty wrong in Nashville. This is the second year now that Rinne has been pedantic.

This is the second year now that Rinne has been pedantic. I think the other thing is that Trotz is probably starting to lose the room. He had a run of like 7 miracle years, but after awhile you just start to tune out the message you've been hearing for the last ten years that hasn't really worked. Especially when you consider they havn't really won a playoff round. On a side note, that Habs-Oilers game was frustrating. OIlers dominated physically, outshot them, out possessed them, had more faceoff wins, more blocked shots, were more disciplined... we just didn't cash in our chances and they did. So tired of losing. So tired of hype. That being said, far from the worst game I've seen the Oilers play. Lota of positives in that one. Except Yakupov, he looks lost out there this year.
