What the Leafs are doing is they are waiting one more year to take a run at Babcock when his contract expires with Detroit ( since he said he was willing to listen to offers ).

until a few days ago it expired next year. now it expires in 2 years. You don't tank to get a coach. no idea why you think the Leafs intend to tank. any team can sign any unsigned hockey exec/coach and it has nothing to do with their draft position. Subban is very lucky the puck stayed under him.

Meh. I guess it was not meant to be. Nice season nonetheless.

as i've already stated earlier, boston is a better hockey team than the Canadiens. period, end of story. no paranoid theories required. subban acting like an idiot at the 11:42 break.

I hope the Montreal dive team doesn't show up. see Subban dive to the ice on top of hte puck behind his own net as Lucic approached... that was awesome stuff... so Gallagher goes from being half dead laying on the ice.. to scoring a goal. he deserves the Claude Lemieux award for that one.

lol Lucic didn't actually touch Subban, .. PK saw him coming and hit the deck with puck under him. Of course, Subban can use the "i lost my edge" excuse. Gallagher laid on the ice for a few seconds trying to draw a penalty. Got up and scored. There is nothing wrong with what he did. Its a judgement call on his part. If he does not draw the penalty though and Montreal turns the puck over... well... ![]()

For sure he didn't lay on the ice for "few seconds"... A second maybe.

A second maybe. just watched the replay on TSN.ca.. it was more than 1 second probably about 2 and a bit.... but ya.. it was really not some 8 second thing where he wobbled back up pretending he was hurt. after Marchand dekes PK out of his shorts... he has a little chat with him from the bench ROFLMAO. Fraser with that Phil Esposito-like lightning quick release induces a rebound... nice goal.

Thornton might get fined for spraying water on Subban during play. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/shawn-thornton-sprays-water-at-p-k-subban-1.2638970 getting Subban this angry is worth the fine. i'd be shocked if Thornton got suspended though. Subban has played well all series long, definitely not a top 5 defenseman though. His emotional antics are starting to give him the Darcy Tucker "side show bob" reputation. over all, another very entertaining Canadiens v. Bruins game.
