Nobody is hitting that shot greater than 50% of the time and definitely not well above 50%. It's not like Blake is ever shooting over anyone like Kobe. All of his 3s are open 3s that are thrown up before someone can close on him. This 3 wasn't that much more open than his average 3 and he's only shooting them at 33% on the season, even when the game isn't on the line.

Oh ok. When he said wide open I assumed it meant no one even close to being in closeout distance to mentally alter his shot.

I'm torn between wanting OKC to win and wanting them to be tired for their series against the Spurs.

Unless youre from Philly... Their trash fans dont even deserve to have a playoff team. Likewise the team doesnt have to play for those bandwagon clowns. Fuckers started to head out to bars after halftime, which is purely disgusting.
Their own coach said hes more worried about home games because of impatient crowd. Sad trash fanbase rivaling Heat and LA.

The fans may be trash, but the team sure isn't. They belong here. Their record understates how good they are. They can take Boston, especially in the back to back game.
Philly in 7 please!
Oh, and I do think LAC steals a game. Chris Paul has a way of making you believe sometimes. Flob City!
Lakers are cooked.

Without him, the Sonics/Thunder might still stink.
Well, the sonics/thunder sucked it up for a few years, by trading away their star veteran players. Then they got the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th draft picks three years in a row which was bound to make them a decent team at least regardless of who there GM is.

I actually think Philly is a tough opponent for anyone. Fans are just fans.
Also given LA keeps that defensive intensity from game 2 they should be fine. Cant be stagnant on offense 3 games in a row. Once they win both home games they are fine.

Anyone thought of the fact that we might see the Pacers vs. Sixers in the ECF? xD

I will watch every game. Won't watch Boston vs Miami.

As an OKC fan, I have never smiled more while watching a ball game than those final 2 minutes. Despite some of the big shots Kobe hit, he really was awful that game. 25 FGAs for 20 points is terrible terrible efficiency. And then those 2 TOs at the end of the game... really cost them. Sure Blake missed a shot at the end. But Kobe was 0-6 from the 3pt line and shot 36% all game. That loss is on him.
Even so, the Lakers are still in a decent position. It's not out of the question that they take 2 at home and tie up the series. Lakers aren't exactly a great road team. And they thoroughly controlled G2 for 46 minutes. The thing is, OKC doesn't match up well against LA. LA has a huge size advantage (two 7 footers vs. 6 10 perk/ibaka) down low. And Artest is great defensively. LA needs to get the ball down to Pau and Bynum more often and Bynum needs to stop taking dumb shots.
IMO this series is on Westbrook. Offensively he should be able to get whatever the hell he wants. OKC should be letting him post up as much as he can handle it. If hes running well, OKC wins. If he has a stinker like last night, LA should never lose (barring another catastrophe).

My concern as a Lakers fan is that Game 2 was a great chance to win the game because they had made adjustments that OKC hadn't had time to prepare for. Going into Game 3, OKC will be making adjustments to LA's adjustments that LA will not have had time to prepare for, giving them the advantage. Teams have to get the most out of small advantages like that in a playoff series, and the Lakers failed to do so last night.
I'm just hoping that being back in LA, where they have played significantly better all season long, will be enough to get them the two wins they need to tie the series up. The 2nd night of the back-to-back is going to be a really tough one for them, but they still have a shot with a roster that is still more suited to grind-it-out, physical playoffs basketball and with more experience.

Philly's offense seems too reliant on the jumpshot without them having a reliable jumpshooter. The defense is solid but the offense seems to stagnate too much sometimes.

I still think, well hope, that Miami will overcome adversity and win Indy and ultimately East. I wan't to see Lebron redime himself for last years finals. I only can hope. Todays game will be key for Heat. Can't wait!
But to answer your question, yes its a legit possibility. No doubt about it with Bosh out
