I've noticed that during the mech switch in TvZ terrans put their science vessels over the natural CC and sometimes just let them stay there. Why is that? The only thing that comes to my mind is that that place is safe from scourge (usually lost of turrets) and terran doesn't have much anti-air so he can't protect them on the map (except the leftover marines).

during mech switch, many pros often reset their army hotkeys in order to lift + send each rax to different location and to rally all the new facs to the rally point. not sure if they reset the vessel hotkey for a short time.
yes when they are at home they are rather safe from scourges, given that the mnm army is not being reinforced so the only anti air that is left are the remaining mnm forces on the map + the turrets at home.
zerg also has literally no means of scouting the terran natural at that point, so he will not know the amount of vessels terran will have (similar to terran hiding + making more valks when they make a mech switch).
= they want zerg to go mutas which can be easily irradiated.
zerg also often use leftover mutas for guards when they see a mech switch coming, if terran does hide his vessels the zerg will proceed to make guards.

does anybody still have these 3 muta micro maps

1 is where you have to snipe ht with mutas and can spend your minerals on hydras by like 12 hatches to defend the protoss
2 i think its called hero muta orsomething where you have 1 hero and 6 orso mutas to micro down huge pack of m&m in the middel of the map
3 6 or 11 mutas vs scourge
The harder it becomes, the more you should focus on the basics.

Here, I uploaded the 2nd and 3rd:

EDIT:
Maybe the 2nd one is wrong since there is no hero that I know of.

Can somebody show me an article explaining in detail, how to block your ramp from a zergling rush, using 2 SCVs? I use the H key to HOLD them but they definitely NEVER hold. As soon as the zerglings hit the SCVs, the SCVs run away.

select the 2 scvs along with another unit like a marine then press H
and i think 3 is more safe in case one of the two goes down and the 3rd one can repair the other scvs.

I usually put 3 to be safe.

Depending on the map I get a 4th scv to mine drill through my natural mineral assuming I have vision to glitch out the zerglings.

I need help in zvt wich involve lategame zvt me as zerg.I have big issues on this stage when terran after the mech switch just turtle with tanks turrets vultures vessel for irradiate buging the ramps with buildings and so on and is almost impossible to break it.On one game for example on FS I managed to kill terran main natural and close third wich was a small victory for me but terran just lift what he could lift and moved them to the new fresh bases on the other side of the map where his army was. From there i struggled so hard that in the end i was just giving up with 12 k minerals and 5 gas and i was maxed.I tried doom drops i tried defiler play but i was just donating army for free and still could not break thos 3 bases on one side of the map no matter what.I admit i am bad at micro and micro is killing me on this lategame stage i am d+/c- alternating.
I would apreciate if people could answer what was i wrong or what should i do in this frustrating situations.

Could somebody elaborate on the mine drill trick? I think I have seen this but never knew what was happening. When the enemy is trying to run up a ramp and the player being attacked sends a lot of SCVs down the ramp to harvest from those minerals. Maybe I am thinking of something else.

Early on during the creation of Starcraft, the developers had problems with the pathfinding of workers while mining, since they bumped into each other messing up the mining, so they made it so while workers move towards a mineral patch or gas geyser to gather it, they would be able to move through other units, and stack together. If they start doing something else, the stacked workers will spread out pushing things out of the way and sometimes glitching them up. Mine drilling basically means that you send your worker to pass through other units by clicking on a mineral patch beyond that unit, and spam stop when its right under that unit pushing it out of the way and glitching it up. It was infamously used in game 2 of the July vs Best OSL.

if zerglings are banging on your scvs and you send an scv into the middle of that and let it glitch, the zerglings cant attack properly.

here's a neat trick if your going mech and want to block the ramp.

get two scvs and place them at the ramp, make them hold position.

float your rax above the scvs. make sure they are covered.

when the lings come, the marine will attack the but the ling AI will not attack the scvs. the enemy have to target the scvs manually but cannot since its covered with the rax. even when he attack moves the lings will find a way to attack the shooting marine and not the scvs.

this can also be done to zealots

In addition to what's been said before it's also the fastest way to get the SCVs to the ramp.
