Because of the success of this starcraft teamleague, Sponsors get attracted to BW again... and ... Korean Telecom remake a team. One team. THE ONLY team. KT freaking Rolster. End of dream. Oh well. A fun teamleague would be cool | ||

You are saying that the players would be happy to play for free and play at their best because of their nostalgia for the kespa period of broodwar. The players will not share your nostalgia for the kespa period of bw. Just about every player say they are much happier now. | ||

One of my examples was specifically about how these free streaming players teambattled on their own, really cared about it. The teams had no sponsors, no names, no kespa. But they cared and had fun. People are generally social, like competing together towards a common goal. Yeah Kespa ran pro league, the players were not free then. But is Kespa running this one? Lots of people go for the amateur tournament. No money except for the winner and top 16 or 8 afaik. Yet the players care, practice, come back for the next one. And again. How can u be so sure there's no money in it at all? No pricemoney, only slavery contracts awaits? Based on the very small info we've gotten we all vision different scenarios of how a potential teamleague would play out. I think you paint a pessimistic picture of it, that it misses out on other possible ways it could happen. History doesn't have to repeat itself, Afreeca should be judged on what Afreeca does, not on what Kespa did. | ||
