It's finally starting to feel like summer here. So, I decided to enjoy the weather and go out for a stroll. I ended up coming back with 8 mosquito bites.
These aren't just mosquito bites on your forearm or your leg. These fuckers aim for my ears, between the toes, and my head (I just shaved my head completely last night too).
I HATE THESE THINGS!! I doubt none of you can beat my record of 258 mosquito bites in the span of 2 weeks that I got during a boat trip...
Edit: Forgot to ask, anyone know a good way of repelling them? I don't want to use bug sprays because they smell awful and these fuckers love me. I think they just live for my blood. Doesn't matter if I'm in a city around the downtown area, these fuckers will find me and suck my blood. I need something to repel these fuckers real bad . I don't know why they like me so much.
I saw an episode of mantracker where this guy and girl were competing. The girl used bug spray, and he wouldn't have any of it because he was big into being a part of the cycle of nature and seeing mosquitos as just another necessary part of it. He looked so horrid by the end of it.
For my own experience, I think they just love the smell of me. I can be out with friends at night for less than an hour... They might get 1 bite, if any, and I'll get 30 (not even an exaggeration). The worst is when they go for the hands.
That's why I love the rain. Bugs go bye bye in it.

In the first 3 days, I got over 50 bites, and I decided to count to see how many I'll have by the end. I couldn't believe it either. Only two places they haven't got me are my penis and my ass crack (yes, they got my balls, two times as a matter of fact).

YES EXACTLY, You sound exactly like me. My friends won't get a single bite, while I'll get 30 all over my body + face in a single night. It's unbelievable.
luckily I live right on the puget sound (literally 200ft from the water), very few mosquitoes. Although around my work has a few more, as well as horse flies (noooo!)
I knew this guy who knew how to "trap" a mosquito that is sucking on you by pinching the skin around him hard, so hard that hes unable to pull out his "nose". The mosquito would eventually pop. Awesome.
if you can upgrade carapace +1 you should be fine. edit: seriously, if i got 258 bites i think i would literally go crazy, i'm not a huge fan of ANY sort of bite that itches. if i get 1 ant bite i fucking rage so hard and pinch the shit out of the skin (yeah yeah i know that's bad but i just get these impulses) but yeah i really really HATE getting bites
I am lucky the mosquitos don't like my blood. I often wake up in the morning, with my with complaining about the 25 mosquitos bites she got during the night, then I check myself, and I don't even have one haha. Thanks wife <3
Is it only us in the west hemisphere that have these? All the times I've been over to Europe I've never even seen one, while over here there are just constant swarms 3 months of the year...
mosquitoes are natures assholes, every damn time I go out i get bitten like 20 times, and they always seem to go for the ankles and wrists where it itches the most, I really need some industrial strength bug spray. Also I heard they especially like to go for people who used deodorant or aftershave, but I haven't tested that out.
