Yes, let's not rush in beta. Let's keep spawning pools at 150 mins until the game is played professionally and someone notices that if they didn't build any extra drones, they could get 6 lings out so fast the other player won't have anything.

Instead of Zealot vs Marine vs Zergling we should see BC vs Carrier vs Ultralisk

it has been annoying that i have to keep hitting the train button on all of my buildings so it would be nice if there was an option that you could turn on that keeps training units endlessly unless you drop to a specific resource count

Rise of Nations had that feature because you would build up so much resources in the late game.

I can see where that guy is coming from, but yes it is ridiculous in the context of StarCraft.

... Beta opt in should only be valid for those with copies of Starcraft tied to their accounts. Most of the threads there are terrible.

-Protoss buildings should function without power
-Press control + hot-key should fill a buildings queue with units (Seriously????)
-Units should gain EXP and get stronger with time (-_-)
-Air units (in general) are overpowered, remove them.
-When box selecting units, worked should be auto excluded, so they don't mix with soldiers.
-Should be able to zoom out farther (up to overhead birds eye view)


... I just- I want to punch something. I hope no one at blizzard is taking this shit seriously.

I've had 2 games in the last 5 where someone just sends a probe to my base, sneakily builds a pylon and a few cannons and kills all my probes. It's freakin stupid and makes the game not fun.

The worst part about it is I always see the probe and can't tell if it's my team or not. How about a proximity warning or something? You'd think someone would be looking out the window in the Nexus and be like, "Hey! That's not ours!"

BM (Bad Manner(ed)): Being a douche after having lost. Ex. Spamming plyons around the map when you obviously lost, Talking shit, Lifting off barrack/cc/etc when you lost, etc.

Unit-based:

Zerg Rush/Zealout Rush/Marine Rush: To send in a race's basic unit in a large quantity early in the game.

Reaper Raped (RR): To be destroyed by the Terran Reapers within the first 5-10 minutes of the game.

Stacking:

Command Based:

Micro: Using an assortment of units with abilities to their full extent, being able to take down a force with minimal units and advanced strategy and ability usage.

If I have 4 barracks selected - and two have reactors while the other two have tech labs on them. If i press my hot key to select all 4 and hit AAAA to make 4 marines, please make them start building from the barracks with reactors. If I do AAAA RRRR it queues up all marines at the tech labs then the rest waiting in queue behind them. I can't think of any reason in the world why marines wouldn't prioritize to EMPTY waiting Barracks with reactors attached to them. This makes me always hit RRRR first which isn't a big deal unless I'm waiting on gas or any other multitude of reasons. This would not be hard to implement I don't think and it would save me - and many other terrans - the headache of this annoying mechanic.

my favorite post so far:

Carriers seemed to need alot of clicking to target enemies where in the first game they would attack anything within a certain range. While playing against a zerg player with alot of roaches I swear I had to individually target specific roaches to kill them. Might want to enable auto targeting or increase the radius or site range of them.

AHAHAHHA

What do y'all think about having normal individual units gaining additional benefits as they accrue more kills without dying - aka they could become more accurate, possibly deal a bit more damage, etc... This has been a factor in other RTS games that avoids the 'hero' driven approach but adds some incentive to play in such a way as to not have your army completely destroyed. Thoughts?
