hey.. remember where bliz said they'd put training missions in the game to prepare people for competitive play? Those newbies provide an excellent basis for designing them.

But letz get real. I was very disappointment blizzard isnt reaching out to its real hardcore gamers for game balance. You kno what the reason for that may be? cuz their going for casual gamers to make that monney ;S i seen this trend in almost every gaming coporation, they want to make games noob friendly and attract noobs. biggest example is modern warfare 2, huge fail in terms of hardcore gamers. u see shit like project natal for xbox and ps3 wands reachhing for casual markets. BLIZZARD KNOES ALL OF US ARE GOING TO BUY THE GAME LIKE ON DAY 1 so they dont care about impressing us or what not. they just want money, beta seems to be a joke as of right now with like only handful of decent pppl. they are trying to get the noobs to open up their wallets by giving em beta. so when they get the full game they can make their fastest crap I M IN NERD RAGE!

I've never seen anyone build 6 bunkers in one spot in a Starcraft 1 game lol. I know it's a different game, but it's just a perfect example of a noob who builds way too much static defense and plays passively.

Disappointing first impression I'm failing to see what has taken so long to change. I've now played all 3 races enough to see what has been changed/added, but it's a far cry from what I expected. A zerg rush will still own in 95% of situations. And with WC3 branding the concept of early game rush into everyones head, anyone that doesn't play Zerg will regret this purchase. The addition of new units/skills/racial abilities is lacking to an extreme degree. I'm very sorry but speaking as a person that has felt for years that Blizz can do no wrong, I don't see any reason to buy this. I believe this will be Blizzards first disappointing release. Sorry guys! On a positive note, Blizz is wonderful at balancing games....eventually. This could be a very fun game a year or so after it's release. ----- I think it's so telling that everyone jumps straight to the zerg rush issue as my main complaint. I acknowledged that Blizz will fix this. It's so funny how many people jump when you tell them to by giving them a chance to call someone else a newb. I'm wondering why someone would shell out the 50 bucks to get the same game we had a dozen years ago? I'll grant you the new battlenet changes etc. have the potential to help with player balancing, but those expecting an evolution in the game akin to what we saw with WC3 will be sorely disappointed. As to strat discussion, save your chest thumping for now. We'll just wait till the ladder is up and watch the top 25 spots on each become Zerg players. At that point hopefully a few of you can put both inches back in the jeans and acknowledge that maybe there is some credance to this. Wtf why are people like this in beta >.< I hope this is a troll lol. http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=23425373541&sid=5000 Protoss units that need help Stalker- So far the stalker is not necessary for much other than to attack air early game. Even during that point its really only good to take out a overlord. People may say they are worth it, but not really. Zealot- Is fine, maybe a little more shields or a little more health. Immortal- amazing units, costs a hell of alot. cant complain about it other than maybe the price is too high on the gas. Warp prism- Still havent figure out really why this thing is good other then as a drop ship. Colossus- Not really that good, dies pretty quick. Tech takes awhile to get it. High Templar- The lighting is the only reason to have this guy and the area it covers is really tiny. It need to be made bigger. If it is not made bigger then he needs more shields and health. Archon- Pointless pointless. I dont see any aoe or that much dmg from them and they die quick even when grouped with other units. Dark templar- These are fine, maybe more health or shields. Carriers- Many people are upset with them being Imba, I fine myself rarely massing them, if i do have them its 2-3. If you are letting them mass carriers you are doing something wrong. Mothership- Never used it cant comment.

So I surprise my enemy with 6 mutas, all he has is marines, I set my way point in his base and mass mutas. He then starts buildings a few vikings which I chase around and am unable to catch...after he gets 4 he desimates my mutas.. gg blizz Why is zerg even in the game...the point of the whole race is to surprise...what's the point if a surprise doesn't even matter anymore? Joke? lol

Managed to have a go on the beta due to a friend knowing a WoW GM. Shame after he got his key, they totally fell out, ruining my chances of getting one.
