Flash is like oov cocky and arrogant at this point.
With this attitude it sounds like he should just play SC2 that way his hands will last longer.
If all he can think about are his wrists after winning then the pain must be legit.

Why would Flash play a game that won't reward him for the amount of work he puts into it?

WoW!! there are some serious idiots posting in this thread! give it a break already!
Besides, has Flash said anything about retiring?
(I'm not referring to the guys who posted above me, I'm referring to the thread as a whole)

Name an interview where Flash blamed a loss on his hands. After the Power Outage MSL, Flash was a gentleman and said that rattled nerves from the G3 fiasco had NOT been a factor in G4 --- an obvious white lie in order to not discredit Jaedong's victory. (Flash's G4 was bullshit and it was clear that the unfair circumstances had shaken him.) Generally I have observed Flash to be very respectful towards fellow players. Flash also says very kind things about his teammates, giving confidence to the rookies, and is friends with players from several other teams (Effort, Jaedong, Fantasy at least).
People think Flash is arrogant because he's the best. So what if he smiles when he loses? Being able to appreciate your opponent's good play even in defeat is actually a mark of good sportsmanship.
Zero on the other hand is always bashing his teammates and saying cocky things like "I played so well I gave myself chills." If Flash were 1% as BM as Zero then basically everyone would loathe him.
Also Baby isn't a rookie.
Basically everything you said is wrong. Whatever, you're still going to hate Flash and think all the same things you already think. The only reason I typed this out is that your post aggravated me by being so conceited, so, troll accomplished I guess.

zero has this thing called a 'personality'
i dont think theres anything wrong with him being 'bm', everyone loves woongjin interviews around here

Well I hope that disciple and co are right about flash exaggerating his wrist condition because otherwise it would be terrible.
That being said, my IQ went down several points reading this thread and I shall not see them ever again =(

But if they won as much as Flash did, people would get tired of their personalities real fast. (OK, maybe not FBH.) Flash is about as polite and respectful as it gets, and people think he's arrogant --- I'm just contrasting him with people who actually say arrogant things instead of being "arrogant" by winning too much.

Flash wouldn't be the first top class pro sporter to kill off his own career. Practicing so much at such a young age will have consequences, and he is just paying the price. Obviously he should take a break but a guy with his mindset might get hurt more (mentally) by not practicing. His coaches should defend him against himself but history tells us not to expect too much in that field from KT.
About the bad manner: I think that Flash really did practice his ass off because he was impressed by Hydra's play of late. However his opponent kinda imploded and Flash had an easy match where he expected a hard-fought battle. He's just disappointed, that's all.
|
Oh god, if Flash doesn't win that Golden Badge before he's forced to retire, he may hate himself for the rest of his life.
|
Wow are people really bashing Flash for talking about his wrists?
Everyone is concerned about it, and so the e-sports journalists are compelled to ask him about it, and so he responds.
It's not like he's preaching on the street about how bad his poor widdle wrists are.

bisu wouldve been the best player ever if he practised until he destroyed his wrists like flash did, but i guess he wants to stay in the game a bit longer

1) I've never once seen him blame a loss on his injury or lack of practice, and I read every one of his interviews. 2) He never said that Jaedong will be at the top longer than him. He said that he thinks Jaedong will make the finals again. What the hell are you talking about? Are you aware of the fact that more than one person can make the finals? 3) Flash made six straight finals and won four of them last year, and is now in the finals again. Did Jaedong do this? No. Clearly, Flash's methods are working out for now. 4) How the hell would it be normal for Flash to lose the final? He's won his last 7 BO5's and this is the first time ever that Zero's made it to the finals. Clearly you're just mad because Flash won. Stop being an idiot.

Yeah, not making it into a RO16 for two years is really what he wants in his career.

Wow i guess no one lives forever.
Wait flash is still soooo young... and his career is already fading in a sense!?!?!??!
Wow...!

The haters on TL are reaching new milestones everyday. Their posts become more and more idiotic, making themselves look meaner with each post.

Their posts become more and more idiotic, making themselves look meaner with each post. tbh this started with disciple's rants which seemed to have unofficially condoned this line of posts in here due to him being a red. Even as a red though that rant was over the line and inappropriate. He said Flash should lie and say "shit is ok" when asked about his wrists, well its not and his fans are actually worried and want to be updated about his condition. You can bet that if it were Bisu that developed symptoms or an illness that could threaten his career disciple and all the other Bisu fans would want every update possible, and they wouldn't appreciate people going into Bisu interview threads saying "Bisu should just stfu already and just say he's ok, stop hiding behind those injuries".
Flash's wrist is visibly wrong, it is not a faked illness. It is extremely serious, and it matters to his fans. For all the Flash haters that followed after disciple, you guys hate flash? great, you don't need to shit all over this thread. He didn't say anything BM in his interview. He has never, not once excused his losses on his wrists. I don't even know where these latest arguments come from, like him being bm because he smiles when he loses or that flash is dumb for praising his friends JD and Zero..
When one of the leading stars in any sport has a serious illness/condition, he will get asked about it, and often because its important. He shouldn't have to lie about it so his antifans can be happier. I was actually dumbfounded by the level of some of the comments in this thread.

Accomplishing nothing for two years and being pain free is better than enduring some pain while becoming one of the greatest ever?

Flash is like oov cocky and arrogant at this point. So, the guy is honest about his wrist condition that has been well-known to be a serious problem, and you think this is disrespecting his opponents.
You are ridiculous and unbelievable. He's not trying to be cocky and arrogant. He's an 18 year old kid with a serious wrist problem that everyone wants to know about, so they're all asking about it.
edit:
and what the HELL is this???

I mean, there's no other way that you could make that incredible examination of Flash's personality and actions right? Especially in the lack of evidence that you somehow create out of nowhere?
Levels of blatant hate built on pure BS are rising to new levels here. This is unbelievable.
