Your post reeks of baseless hatred, I hope you can see that at least. Flash has never blamed his losses on his wrists, even when they might have been the cause. ALL progamers, when addressed in interviews with statements like "You lost in the MSL ro16" reply along the lines of "I clearly wasn't prepared enough, I apologize to my fans and I'll try better next time". Flash is extremely manner, and he's friends with both JD and Zero, of course he's going to say good things about them. If flash ends up losing in the finals, when asked about it in a following interview he'll congratulate Zero and say he'll try better next time (assuming he doesn't retire because of his wrist), he will not (nor has he ever) say anything like what you wrote.

Wow this guy is very very reluctant to read past interviews. When flash lost last time, he said he could've done better, not "i practiced too much and broke my wrists."
Let's just hope Flash can win another dual finals before he's finished.

Congratulations, you are now even with NaDa on starleague titles! Anything you want to say about it
Flash: It feels incredible. However, I cant drink any champaign now cause alcohol shouldn't mix with the painkillers I'm taking for my wrist. I wasn't even sure I could play in this final, doctor said I wont make it. But I practiced hard till I couldnt hold a glass with my hand and it paid of. I was lucky to 3-0 ZerO who is like the best zerg player right now, I was expecting 3-2 if Im honest at best.

random PL winners interview
You recently lost the MSL final. Any regrets about it? How is your wrist btw?
Flash: Glad you asked that. My wrist cannot be healed, there is no way around it. I couldn't practice because of it, had a couple of games with Hoejja the night before the final but it was like playing against the computer, I wanted to have my timings right and rely on my basics. It still wasnt enough thou and I'm sad I lost 2-3 to my opponent, whatwashisname.
Nice hahaha. I really fault Flash not because he brings it up, niterviewers ask him after all, but because he volunteers useless information about it that will give him leverage, just as disiple says. Just say its being treated end of story next question. No need for the incurable painkiller drama. Look at this for example:
Commentator: Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans? Any promises and thanks you'd like to give?
Flash I really practiced until I was going to go crazy, so my arm hurts a lot right now. But every time I thought of the fans and remembered how I was knocked out early in the last tournament. I really practiced like my arm was going to break, and I'll practice even harder for the finals. [/quote]
Did he really need to mention his arm in such a manner. Everybody makes sacrifices. This is just being dramatic about it. I could also imagine his interview when he loses in the MSL finals going like this:
Commentator: Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans? Any promises and thanks you'd like to give?
Flash: Glad you asked that. My wrist cannot be healed, there is no way around it. I thought of how I was eliminated last season so I practiced even though me arm hurt so much that I felt like dying. I had a couple of games with Hoejja the night before the final but it was like playing against the computer, I wanted to have my timings right and rely on my basics. In the game, my arm finally gave in, so I played with my left hand and using the mouse only. Even though I prepared hard for my fans, I'm sorry to lose even though I still had my left hand functioning well. I promise to practice to death until my left hand falls off also.

It is a pretty common expression in Korean. In example, "I'm going to study until I go crazy". From the way you guys are taking it, I'm just going to have to assume that you guys are lacking a certain cultural understanding and sensibility.

Just as I though disciple's misinterpretation cannot be topped lol. How the hell did you manage to get everything so wrong? It's almost uncanny...

I don't think it is fair to say that his wrists are detrimental to his play in the match, so it's not a crutch for losing or winning. He has never used that as an excuse unlike other players who keep mentioning about poor health etc. It just hurts and that's a fact, what else is he supposed to say about it?

let's start a donation for bionic wrists for Flash.

flash's wrist being incurable really sucks balls but hopefully after he rolls ZerO he can let it rest a bit or something so its not so painful

Hmm my long-existent stance against S-class apologists remains, but in all honesty, disciple seems to be replying to future posts by some fanboys instead of purely addressing Flash's conduct in interviews. Flash isn't saying anything wrong. But disciple knows that when Flash's to anyone, including Zero, the accomplishment of the opponent is diminished because people will claim Flash's wrist played a hand in his defeat (+10 points for the pun). But that's not Flash's fault. If Flash was perfectly healthy and lost, people still wouldn't accept that the opponent simply played better. It's the nature of morons.
As for disciple's other piece of criticism, I dismiss it entirely! Flash has been the best in the game hands down for the last two years by a fairly large margin (I'm sorry Jaedong, but you had 3 shots at him after power outage and you didn't cut it). If other players can't touch him even when he's injured, than that just shows how good Flash is... Other players don't want to look bad? Win some games, please.
Anyway, disciple's follow up posts show some intense emotional bias....

Flash will more than likely play for a few more months, then probably after doing all he can do, retire from BW, get surgery on his hand, and then rest for a year or so before switching over to SC2 where he can take up a new challenge while using the year off to get the basics from the game.
Hopefully he wins the MSL Finals since he's my favorite player. Also, the whole, 'Why is he bringing up his wrist injury?' is a silly comment. Look at any sport where the best player has an injury. All they are ever asked about is that injury and how they're dealing with it. If the best player in a sport could retire from said injury, the reporters would be going crazy with the questions. If Flash leaves BW, that's a huge blow to the whole scene.

I think the issue with his wrist is as such that in order to treat it he'll have to take an actual extended break from BW, but given that he can (with constraints) still perform, he probably will push himself until Proleague playoffs are done (possibly even until next OSL season is done) before taking this break.
Rooting for Flash like never before, everyone except the die-hard Zero fans should be, this might be his last finals despite his overwhelming genius at the game.
...i think ill root for zero, flash has won enough already
