But you dont beat the current champion 3-0 and talk about wrist problem and how it cannot be cured. What Flash is doing with this is terrible and wrong because:
It makes the competition look like a complete bunch of incompetent idiots
Basically can use the issue as an excuse whenever he feels like it.
Flash is like oov cocky and arrogant at this point.
Did you even listen to the interview? He said over and over again how he's at the condition he is at now because he practiced "until his arms hurt". He was saying how he was disappointed with his TvZ losses recently so he practiced. He wasn't even trying to insinuate that Hydra is a terrible player because he destroyed Hydra even when he had a wrist problem. He steered the conversation towards the idea that he played well because he practiced a lot.
Either you didn't actually listen to the interview or you've completely misunderstood and misconstrued what he said.
but why the fuck he needs to bring this up in every god damn interview ? when asked, I guess he can just reply shit is ok and that will be the end of it. now we get to read how he practiced till his hand hurt, that doctors cant heal it and shit like that. Ofc he is not trying to bury Hydra directly but thats exactly what he is doing the way I see it. Flash has been talking about this wrist thing for about 6 months now and whats his record? I doubt he is on some painkillers he cant sleep from, obviously the problem isn't as major as he makes it to be, nor he is about to stop playing anytime soon. When oov hurt his wrist he straight up retired, there is some major thing going on there for the gamers if shit fucks up. Its really annoying reading this shit in every interview cause it makes his fans think he is not playing his best or and on the other hand that his "not best" rapes everyone else.
Come now.. I dont think hes thinking all that at all , maybe he is complaining a little more than he should, but heh isnt something to get to angry about yes?
On another note, Flash pissing on Hydra only makes me happy.. Only if he can diss him even less subtly than he did ("I cant say much about Hydra's play... I didnt understand the way he played, etc") xD

In my opinion, Zero has more sportmanship than anyone else. He is a humble man who respects his opponents. Flash is pretty standard in that department. The thing is, he did indeed play worse than usual in the semifinals, especially in game 2. Anyone who watched most of Flash's games will agree that he is not in his prime. The only fact is, Flash off-prime is still better than 99% of the other progamers.
Jaedong's sportsmanship is actually a little worse than Flash's.
That... bulge wasnt the "injury" right? Just some natural deformaties that appears on some people (i have known a few people w bulging bones at the wrong places that look completely weird, but they say its normal for them)..

But if it is.. man T_T that looks to hurt
It is. He stated in earlier interviews that he has been getting cortisone shots in his wrist to reduce swelling and relieve pain so he could play (a temporary fix) :x
Being the starcraft fan that I am, I asked my anatomy professor about carpal tunnel's and she told me surgery which cuts the ligament in the wrist does the job even for most serious cases.
For sake of his career, KTFlash, and fans, I think Flash should get the surgery and take few months off =/
for the sake of his career I think he should take a serious break from progaming. he mentions numerous times in the interview after the match that he "practiced until his arms felt like falling off" and how he will practice even harder than that for the final and personally I feel that theres a point where you cross the line between hard work and overstrain. the worst case scenario is that he won't be able to play anymore and if that happens everything becomes meaningless. health first. flash please don't overdo it..
Yea I really hope Flash takes a few months off to rest. Hes still young so there's plenty of time left for progaming in him. It would break my heart if he had to retire like that.
I can't accept that Flash would be that stupid. Surely he just made the decision that even he can't overcome a months long break from practicing and would rather just burn out extending his reign as bonjwa for as long as possible, for the record books, and then move on to a new career. Surely he's not just ignoring the problem of his injury in the hopes that it will go away....
As much I like to see Flash lose, I don't wanna see him go just yet. This is like the biggest waste of talent in BW.

I remember this and all the while this is what I thought to be the cause. Well I guess he overworked himself and it resulted to this, I hope he learns to rest more.
Of course he knows its not going to go away by itself, he's not dumb. Odds are after surgery he still will never be 100% again. Best case scenario for him would be to sit out the post-season (and stx masters, etc), take the entire summer, get whatever treatments/surgery/etc he needs, and after recovery sees if he can ever get back to it again. There's no happy ending here
And to all the flash haters, sure your favorite players will have an easier time winning titles if he wasn't around, but it also wouldn't have the same glory as beating the best of the best :/
well, whenever flash loses or plays bad in his games its always him blaming it on lack of practice which was caused by his wrist injury, it is so cheap. he should really start to respect his opponents whenever he loses the game instead of smiling arrogantly for 5 minutes in the booth while looking at the screen and then exit the booth and walk away like a boss.
flash is probably the best player out there right now in terms of in-game mechanics, while on the other hand he is probably the most dumb person outside the game. just look how he is praising jaedong for being an "EXCELLENT" player:
A I feel a bit uncomfortable with it. I can't really express it with words. The Jaedong-hyun that I wished to meet in the finals has lost, the feeling is just as bad as if I had lost personally. Jaedong-hyun is an excellent progamer, I believe that one day he will definately make the finals again.
he thinks that jaedong will be at top more longer than him. it is because of him being the dumb and killing his condition with overkill practice schedules while jaedong can keep the amount at normal which he is capable and be more efficent with it. we also see whenever jaedong does what flash have been doing in the past, which have caused him throw games to rookies such as Baby in very important times. If these doesnt suit u all, then just take a look at ggplay and his injury.
Ironically if flash loses this final, which would be normal, watch how he is gonna blame it on his injury and lack of practice even though he knows and acknowledges how zero can be very good sometimes and then continue playing for another starleague run.
his will and wits are admirable, but he is just too dumb. or maybe unlucky?

I dont know where you got your facts from.. But your hates aside (every1 hates on someone, like how i hate Hydra w a passion :x), Flash wins with something else rather than his in-game mechanics alone. In fact, his in-game mechanics can hardly be argued to be the best. Imo, Bisu Jaedong and a few others have better mechanics than he does.. What help Flash even the odds is that "ingenuity magic" of his, along w this new hack called "star sense" (others have too, just less).
