Epic. Hype.
I always liked the slower BW schedule compared to the too-fast-but-not-lan-party-fast GSL pace.

I have a feeling that the final four will have 3 zergs and an godly terran. JvF here we go again!
|
out of all of those player I most want to see calm take another MSL or Mind or hydra really not jaedong or flash though :\ sorry but regardless I sense the final will be TvZ but as to which terran or zerg. it's hard to say. anything could happen if people tries to cheese or prepare special builds.

My prediction: no protosses in Ro4

Dong seems to have the easiest matchup. He said that he wants to show off his ZvP so I think we will see some stellar Starcarft.
Potential Hydra vs Flash semifinals coming. That's gonna be awesome.
Also potential JvZ in semis is gonna scare the shit out of me. What's JD's ZvZ for this year? Like 50% or something :/
epic JvF finals seem very possible, that's a day I must not miss. Might have to cancel my holiday trip to Crete for it.

Jaedong will cross through Grape like it's nothing, but then he'll have to play a ZvZ.
I really hope he brings his JvZ game out because I don't want him to lose to ZerO or Calm and deny us a FvJ finals.
|
Jaedong > Grape Calm > Zero Hydra > Mind Flash > Leta
Jaedong > Calm Flash > Hydra
Jaedong > Flash
But a Jaedong vs Hydra finals would be epic too.

3-0's are so boring =\
But I kinda have unrealistic expectations for JvF finals - I always hope to watch the best ZvT of all throughout history, something mankind has yet to set their eyes on.... so far I've been reasonably disappointed and pleased : \

Leta's PL play has been pretty abyssal as of late, glad he atleast made it ro8. hopefully take atleast 1 game off of flash
|
Why everybody thinks that Jaedong will steamroll Flash? I think most people forget who Lee Young Ho is.

This. I'd much rather see his baller ZvT in a bo5 for once...

I can't see Grape beating Jaedong in a Bo5.
|
Let's go Jaedong! That golden badge is yours. Just bring JvZ back. Please?
As for the rest, I'm hoping for ZerO, Mind and Leta. That would be pretty awesome.

Can't believe it's the Ro8 again already :D Go Jaedong!

I think Calm has single one-off games and series where he plays brilliantly, especially when he has a chance to prepare. I remember the one game (don't remember against who) on FS where he lined up his Overlords perfectly (which required planning this from the start) to clear mines all the way from his base to the opponent's, thus being able to seize a timing window and win the game. He also beat Jaedong in a bo5 almost purely off of preparation, which is truly impressive given the nature of ZvZ.
However, I totally agree that Zero and Effort are better players (Zero is almost as erratic though). Both Zero and Effort have vastly superior fundamentals and at his peak Effort has no peer other than the Dong (who truly has no peer).

I guess I'll just be watching group A.

Oh my god... I feel SOOOOOO bad for Zero =( =( =( T_T_T_T_T_T
The guy is like forever fated to fall. He's ALWAYS matched up against zergs, haha...
