Grats to Naniwa for making it to the finals, well played and sorry to HasuObs (Gl in the third-place match) its been fantastic watching him throughout this tournament and I'm sure we'll see a lot more of him in the future. Lots of sour grapes, pretty surprised the usually "united" non-Korean scene is getting split up like this - and it wasn't even a nation war team game! Maybe it shows that the NA/EU scene for SC2 is actually getting big and good enough to separate itself and become more than just Koreans / non-Koreans. (I know I'm a hopeless optimist trying to see the good side of everything :lol)

There's A LOT of sarcasm behind all this. A huge majority of young Swedes are actually republicans and the king is more often than not a joke. Not saying that that's true for everyone though, there are monarchists as well and sports (and esports) will always create some nationalistic pride.

It does make for shitty spectating but the onus is on Blizzard to fix this fucking matchup. (Or alternatively on the players to find out a solid PvP playstyle that can reliably take the matchup into the lategame for variety). Whichever comes first.

But what happened to Jante's Law? -__- Jane's law is invalid in sports and in comparisons of public services with USA! I think the swedes and germans egged eachother on, and it basically became a giant shit throwing contest GGs though. It'll be really cool to see Nani vs Thorzain. I expect great things from this finals. Naniwa has a beastly PvT, and Thorzains TvP seems almost abusive, as honestly atleast I have no clue whatsoever what to do against mass thor. Adelscott style? Either way it's fucking awesome, and it's up to Naniwa to find a way. I hope the foreigner scene can keep the friendly bond that's been going on since the BW days. The nationality ruling the foreigner scene will probably be fluctuating as new players make it in to the scene. Sweden's doing quite well right now, but I doubt it's anything genetic ^^

Beeing called "Non-swedish" is a compliment in Sweden.
