Even in a korean vs europe final there would be no lag discussion, since they are playing live in NYC

Well this was a quite boring semi-final to watch, was hoping for some ultimate epic late game battles. Though it never got to a late game on any map.
Grats to Naniwa, it might not look pretty, but his style is mega efficient, and who cares how it looks when you win prices! also gg to hasuobs, really nice playing so far in the TSL, keep it up!

When you're interested in seeing high-level competition and excitement and what you get to see is essentially three identical games back to back (the proxy was a deviation...that led into 4(5)gate; the first game, the one where Nani's initial push didn't insta-win, demonstrated his ability to fall on his face on demand), it's understandable to be a little disappointed with the show. No spice. No variety. It wasn't even like they were 4gating back and forth so there was some ebb and flow to the match.
Nani didn't play well G1 but you can't extrapolate that to mean that he has terrible decision making or crisis management or w/e, he has played lots of impressive macro games

do u really u think 1.3.3 will change anything? i mean both players will be affected by slightly later wg ... ..
of course I do, because it'll be delayed and u'll have time to get up a robo or w/e in time instead

I love how people whine about 4gate in pvp but in BW everybody though zvzs were so amazing even though 100% of the games was just muta micro to win the game. Then it was just OMG Jaedong is just a god at muta micro, how amazing bla bla bla.

Which was a misunderstanding, even NASL acknowledged that.

Which Korean do you think can beat him? Just curious.

I'm not so sure about that.
He rolled Thorzain 2-0 @ a LAN event in Sweden today.
Thorzain is definitely the underdog again, but I doubt he'll mind that.

If you don't go 4gate in PvP on a map were ramps aint small enough for FFs, then you are probably insecure that ur micro is as good as your opponent (hope you get it pm me if not). With that beeing said, gl in the finals for the best TvP:er to meet the best PvT:er in europe atm I must say.

But that's also the reason why Blizzard is trying to address it in the next patch. All mirror match-ups are obviously less exciting then normal match ups. But as far as the game goes... mirrors between all races are the most technical and mechanic heavy. So please, don't hate the players.
As far as TSL3 goes I'm pretty happy with a 100% swedish final. First of all there should be no lag discussion at all, which is awesome. Secondly its the best that could happened since there wasn't any zerg players left.
Finals will be played in NY lol no lag even if it wasnt a swedish final.

Yeah he went with a move command straight through a collosus ball twice.. I dunno what happened, but I'd be pretty pissed at myself after that. I wouldn't really call it BM, as it's quite obvious it was his own fault. Not saying he would've won, but atleast there would've been an engagement.

Give me one....ONE good reason why the fuck he should try something els? To get some respect from a few tl.net members who are sore losers because there player lost?
FAce the facts, this is not a style point competition. You win the game and thats it....case closed!
i wouldnt call almost 40.000 people a few, you know..

not exactly, you have to understand RTS to understand these games, and to do that you need limited practical knowledge of the actual game.
and they were not entertaining nor showing any particular finesse -however crisp Naniwa played on all grounds-, if you want to talk series that are actually diffcult to understand, refer to Bomber vs. MVP or Nestea vs. SC, now those are some real treats, where the true epicness lies beyond the drama and the action.

on the mirrors:
for the guy saying TvT is not worrth watching because noone wants to see positional play. lal that's shooting yourself in the foot, the positional play of high level TvT is the truest testament of skill in this game of any matchup.
and comparing ZvZ, which requires incredible game sense, decision making, timings, positioning, micro, and macro, to PvP, which only requires micro and timing at the highest level, is an insult, even if both matchups are very close to being a coinflip, even if they're not quite there.

I get tired of people complaining about PvP, and ZvZ matches =/ "We want epic huge battles!" It's rare guys, yeah I'd love it too. First year of the game being out so give it a while before those PvP and ZvZ matches become epic o.o;
