Doesn't have to be that many but maybe upload one free game after each stream as the "Game of the day" or something. I think it would be good pr and you might get more paying customers that want to see the rest of the games. True! And keep going nasl!

Just my 2cents, get the audio fixed asap. I think that poor audio is setting up the casters to fail. They both have good potential but if their voices sound hollow or echoed or lost in the mix people will be turned off. you can have the best singer in the world but if the mix is bad then people will hate on the singer.. try this: record the audio->mix -> equalize ->compress -> encode then -listen- to the audio, compare it to the GSL audio and go back and tweak the eq and compressor and encoder settings until it sounds AWESOME... (audio recording 101) I promise you it will alleviate some of the problems people are having with the casters... when the voices sound bad you are hanging the casters out to dry. NASL should offer refunds and free vods until the basic audio and video fps problems are fixed...

it just seems like there's no "perfectionist" producer overseeing the whole thing that has an eye for production quality. just look at the stretched photos on the website, amateurish colours and typefaces. the whole thing about the editor using the wrong video files. you'd think someone would just see how some of those things stick out like sore thumbs and just get it fixed. there's a lot of talk about how much pride is going into this but there's just no follow through. i gave benefit of the doubt at first but it's just one thing after another. the casting is the one thing i have no issue with, their confidence and chemistry is already improving quite a bit.

1- Refine camera operation while spectating. You really need to be using the middle mouse button and scrolling smoothly while you are focused on the action. 2- Consider refining the Player info slides-- the design needs some work. It looks very amateurish at the moment--sorry to be blunt. It is very wide open and the typeface leaves a lot to be desired. Let me know if you need any help!

It could be true with the amount of money they are putting into the competition. The real question is why on earth would someone PM a guy with 7 posts telling him how much NASL paid for the website.

I just listened to the NASL restream and the sound is phone quality... I usually don't care much about sound or image quality, but the horrible sound made me actually turn off the stream. Hire someone to fix it, get an expert and let him work on it, don't go the cheap route and try to do that with inexperienced staff. Too bad it's in the US, in Germany i could immedatly recommend an expert i know who does sound stuff for a lot of concerts :-/ Anyways, keep up the good work otherwise, there are lots of interesting matches. PS: PayPal possible some time soon?

It's not their responsibility to meet your imagined expectations. Isn't it actually? I know I expect a solid bang for the buck. I wouldnt buy a 20 piece chicken bucket to only get 15 pieces. I wouldnt buy a car if the dealership said it "might" work Production value is pretty amateur, casters are OK, but the value of production is incredibly bad. "its costs $25 and it MIGHT be good" Good seller The music on 2-1 was pretty bad, it played the whole damn time! does nasl actually watch the replay? to tweak and edit the BAD stuff or do they just say "meh good enough" Need more dedication with the crew or find viable ppl who can volunteer to make us say "WOW" for now, their is NO wow effect.

And yes, for me, that shows how much they invested on this league. 400k prize pool for 3 seasons and (talking about prices on Brazil) cant spend 2k on the website? Or request good pictures to the players? Sure, all of the stream problem, the complaints about spoilers are big things, but i believe its "excusable" because they are big! This is so small and easy to be done right and they manage to make this shitty? I got pmed by him because of this post, this is why someone would share that information with some random noob.

I've seen people comment on the video being choppy. For me, it was the best it has been so far. I was able to stream 1080p pretty smoothly even wireless to my laptop. This was the first night I've had success doing so. Usually I have had to go down to 480p to get it to play smoothly. The audio did sound worse, but as I'm sure that's still a work in progress I don't see a need to comment on it. One suggestion I had, relates to the sheer volume of games. A lot have commented about how many games there will be and how clearly people won't be watching every single one. Because of this, what people would probably like to do is follow their favorite 5 or 10 players in the NASL plus any big matches that night. A better VOD system would obviously help this (also a way to hide the results when going to play the vods. GOMs system is great, but I've even seen some series on youtube where they always put up 3 videos even if game 3 wasn't needed). Another idea relating to this...since there is the extra day for editing and you should know ahead of time how long the cast for the day will be, etc, it would be nice to have a schedule for the day. For example if I could see that TLO vs Morrow is going to start at 8:30 est I could tune in for whatever match I want to see that day. The obvious downside to this is that could potentially spoil previous matchups if people really wanted to take a close look at the times of each match. Maybe some way to post that where it can be viewed only by people curious about the times?

edit: the obvious way to fix this would be to remove it, since there 's a whole different standings tab on the site.
