I know it's pretty innocent and he by no means meant to offend anybody, but his opening phrase "What's up bitches!" Made me feel pretty uneasy. I think it's a word that can be used in citations, imaginary citations (be that I mean "and the protoss player is like <<take this bitch>>!") and between the casters, if they feel ok about it. Hearing it shouted to all the viewers made me feel really uneasy and made me wonder - should a proffessional caster say such things? Or should he avoid it.
Poll: Should the casters call the viewers "bitches"?I'm perfectly ok with that (195) 66% I don't care at all (66) 22% It's unacceptable. (24) 8% It makes me feel uneasy, but I don't really care (11) 4% 296 total votes Your vote: Should the casters call the viewers "bitches"? (Vote): It's unacceptable. It's been his trademark intro on many of his shows for a very long long time. Seriously doesn't bother me at all.
Edit: In fact, being a long time viewer of djWheat, it gets me quite pumped up!

He always open up his shows and casts with that, i really dont care at all. I find it quite ridiculous how easily offended some people get when you know the guy isnt intending it to be offensive at all, rather the other way around.

Oh boy, the whine clan strikes again ><
made me wonder - should a proffessional caster say such things? Or should he avoid it. Each time you wonder about something doesn't mean you can make a thread about it.
This thread actually made me laugh. I guess some people are just so uptight >_>
Don't look too much into it, it's just his way of opening the cast, funny thing is, I was thinking, oh boi, probably someone will be complaining on TL Forums about this, and here we are. And is this really worth it's own thread, you could just post the poll in the live report thread?

a) its a signature comment of beloved Wheat b) I am not paying for the stream, so even if I would feel offended, could just not tune in c) There are enough other things to worry about, other then a caster known for his humour (spelling?!) saying the bitches words in an obviously good mood.
My 3 cent

I thought that was pretty damn awesome to be honest bitches.
It is just a word that over the years, with slang, has become less of a serious word and more of a joke
LOL is this a joke? You're going to be offended by some1 saying "whats up bitches"...come on really?
I want to believe I'm being trolled but sadly I actually think you're serious.
Haha. Don't get offended that fast man. No harm was ment
I'm perfectly ok. I don't see why he should avoid it either. It's not like he is insulting us, it's just an oppening line.
We like blood and guts all over the battlefield, but are a bit sqeamish at the word "bitches".
I think it's fun, but i also like Mac from Sunny Philadelphia. "Heyho bitches!"

I 100% agree with this, hearing that made me get so excited... man oh man how I have missed wheats shows...
I don't think it's unprofessional... especially when this is a fan run event...
The troll in me wants to vote "It's unacceptable " but then someone might take it seriously -.-
So as djwheat would say - stop whining and man up you little bitch
Are you serious? Did you really think this needed a dedicated thread?
