So this will be my first page in the blog section so I feel I should introduce myself a bit. My name is JMC I am a platinum ranked 1v1 player. I will play teams occasionally to take a break from the 1v1 games but I do not ladder on any of them regularly. I also forgot to say I play terran. I am writing this in order to track my progress in Starcraft 2. There were also other players doing this so if you are assuming I stole their idea......I suppose yes I did. Sorry.

So yesterday I was able to play my placement match in order to get into a league. I only played one match so I played that and got put into Platinum which is how I ended last season. Today I sat down to play starcraft played 7 games. I went 4-3 and won the last 3 games that I had played. My matchups went like this.
TvT: 1-0
TvP: 0-1
TvZ: 3-2

Most of the matches went fairly well. My TvT was probably my best matchup and the losses that I did have came from rapidly occuring problems that I have.
- Poor macro
- Innability to scout and stop a protoss rush
- Poor play against zerg lategame
Noting that these are probably my worst qualities as a SC2 player I will have to try to work on them. I can definatly tell after browsing the replays my SCV production was not constant and my mineral count began to rise in most matchups. However, I viewed today mostly as a success. I ended off the day on a 3 game winning streak and the last game was against a player who was slightly favored against me (and when I see that I generally assume I will lose, and generally I do.)
