I think what he meant was to promote chronoboosting warpgates as much as possible, to see how much you can actually produce out of 2 efficient warpgates instead of 3 or 4 non chrono'd. Unfortunately, there isn't any way of getting there without dying if you stay with 2 Warp Gates. Speaking of which, do you reckon there will be any PvP replays (in mid-higher leagues)? Given that you will just die vs 4gate, which is pretty standard now.

On the other hand, I'd hate to be in the lower leagues this week, as lower league 'toss are already way too fond of void rays to begin with and this will only encourage them.

HOW THE GHOST NUKED FUNDAY by Dr. Zuess Every Protoss on ladder Liked 4-Gate a lot... But the Ghost On the Day[9] Daily Did NOT! The Ghost hated warpgates! The whole Protoss culture! If he could, he would mine the whole map with a vulture. But those only came with the 1P campaign. So then what would he do now? The Ghost wracked his brain... The Ghost thought... And he thought... Of a plan that'd be cool... Then it hit him. He said, "I must go back to school!" There he sat in his base where a few SCVs Were hard at work building new Ghost Academies. Now, there's something to say about this sort of school, And it's not hard and fast, just a general rule That they're not where you'd study to learn ABCs. No, THESE schools are for playing with WMDs! The Ghost researched cloak, so he wouldn't be seen, Then began building missiles to make foes glow green. Thus armed, he went looking for bad guys to fry, Spouting Ghost Ghostly mottos like "Never Say Die". Marching past the lyotes (that asplode with a poke), The Ghost reached his target. He turned on his cloak. When he shone the red laser (thus far unsuspected), A warning sound boomed: "NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED!" The Protoss... they panicked! The probes upped and fled! Protoss buildings blew up, dropping food into red. And what happened then...? Well... the viewers might say That the Protoss supply count Dropped three sizes that day. The Ghost built some more missiles, Each topped with a nuke. Then he nuked! And he nuked! And he'd NUKE! NUKE! NUKE! NUKE! He nuked all the pylons! He nuked all the stalkers! He nuked all the cannons and shiny gold walkers! But this Ghost wasn't Master League... not even Gold. He was simply a Bronze Leaguer... newbie, but bold. (His macro was terrible, if truth be told.) With large trust funds of mineral and gas in his banks, He had built no marauders. He'd built no siege tanks. He had naught but marines--and a Ghost--in his ranks. When the Protoss arrived with a force at his door Those marines soon were splattered all over the floor. The Ghost's prospects looked grim now, But did he despair? No! The Ghost set his SCVs all on repair. And they worked all their SCV hearts out to last Just until the new fortress could morph in to blast All the Protoss to pieces. He made it! Hurrah! (Let's face it... we all know the damn things are imba.) The workers all breathed a long sigh of relief, And they went back to mining in foolish belief That the danger had ended, and they'd never fall... But the Protoss had built up another death ball. While the Ghost kept on nuking, his foes could expand And expand till comm centers had no place to land. With his resources dwindling, supply gaps grew wide, And the Ghost quickly found he had nowhere to hide. A huge wave of immortals began their advance. Not even his fortresses stood any chance. They razed his last expo, not slowing their pace, Then proceeded to level HIS WHOLE FUCKING BASE! The Ghost merely shrugged and continued his mission. As everyone knows: IT'S THE BEST DAMNED TRANSITION! So he nuked, And he nuked Till his silos ran dry. Then he saved his last pennies For just one more try. But with 5 hit points left, Twas too little, too late. A lone little probe charged in To seal the Ghost's fate. The replay recorded the Ghost's epic demise With the volume turned way up to hear his last cries. If you listen in close, you might hear him exclaim: "Happy Funday to all, and to all a good game!" g.g.

A lot of those lines had been percolating around in my head since Sean announced the Funday topic. During Monday's cast, I kept coming up with more Seuss-esque rhymes to describe the action. The final match was so epic that it had to be immortalized in verse. Don't think I can make blogs yet, though, being a forum newbie and all...

1) You must research neosteel frames before you expand and 2) You must actually have some sort of use for it (Its the upgrade that lets you put more stuff in your bunkers) Also one where as protoss or terran: Whenever you scout a new enemy expo, you must take another base yourself. (So if the enemy zerg goes hatch before pool, as soon as you scout that, you must expand. When the zerg takes his third, you must take your third (or already have it) Whats that you say, its just good sense to always be at least on the same number of bases? Just wait until you have a day9 viewer vs a day9 viewer.

This might end up with Immortal Meatshields and anti- armoured, Collosi to take down everything that destroys the Hardened Shields, Void Rays for general DPS/harass techniques, Phoenix for scouting and Anti- light, Zealots as meatshields and a lot of Warp prism + DT/Zealot harass, as you will be gasstarved quite badly you will want to make a Warp Prism every now and then. Maybe even Warp Prism/Cannon harass?
