However, there's a letter of the law, and a spirit of the law. What are the odds, do you think, that in the thousands of replays he receives, that he'll take one of you going all gateways? Why would he cast replays of people trying to "cheat" the rules? The intent is to see what interesting low-gateway unit/high-retention air/robo strategies that people can come up with. I suspect it's going to be a lot of cannon shenanigans due to people being gas-starved but mineral flooded.

If someone can come up with a intelligent or fun use for gateways over warpgates I suppose he could show it. Can imagine what that would be though other than proxy gates which we have seen a gazillion times.

Two things I hope to see: 1. Using mass amounts of immortals in the face of all odds to 2-3 shot Hatcheries/Command Centers/Nexus's. 2. Barracks-like Gateways

It could also be that Day9 wants ppl to use Chronoboost more instead of letting the nexi stay at 100 energy the whole game and us seeing just that. ![]()

You do realise that warpgates can be chronoed just like any other building, don't you? If you have a spare second or two, it's worth flicking back to the base to chrono them to get your warpgate units out quicker.

Indeed. Although you spelled Seuss wrong ![]() At first I thought Day9 just slipped up when pronouncing it Zeus, but he continued on with it throughout the entire cast! I remember him asking people in the chat to spell out "Zeus" in all caps, then remarking they were not spelling the right "Zeus"
