Group 2 was a no brainer, its pretty clear whose top class and whose not. Leenock is good but no where near Nestea and MKP

Still, Huk plays great on ladder. I just hope he performs better in GSL and shows us he can carry that incredible skill over to LAN. When he's on top of his game he deserves to be in Code S, too bad we haven't seen that Huk from code A games!

So although he got his code A spot automatically this season, it's not like he isn't on the same level as other people who weren't automatically seeded. He was one game away from making it through the qualification of an open GSL (64 players qualified i.e. the same number included in Code S/Code A combined (this included ret/haypro/jinro/idra/sen)) You needed to make it to at least R32 of an open GSL to be guaranteed to make Code A for the 2011 season. Regardless, Huk took advantage of his seeding and made it far enough through Code A to get a shot at the up and down matches, where he took advantage of his good draw to actually reach Code S. Next season we'll find out if he truly belongs in Code S or not, but for now he's there and he does have the chance to show everyone why he should be ^^

He lost in Code A to Losira, who I think is probably one of the top 10 players in the entire world (and who I fully expect to be in Code S next season as well). I'd expect that Huk's play will be more consistent next season as his nerves calm. Very glad to see MKP and NesTea (probably my favorite player) remain in Code S. Leenock was clearly wrecked by his own nerves -- shame he was placed into that group.

This is pathetic considering I also paid for a premium stream. I am sick of using a 2nd rate media player (GOM Player), if GOM are having problems streaming then why don't they use JustinTV as an official broadcast partner?

Game 1 vs. Choya was brilliant by both players, but a good example as to why that matchup feels like a crapshoot. They kind of made a crapshoot look like a poker game though at least. Game two HuK played it well and made one mistake. Game three was just kind of ... PvP... them not crossing paths changed the whole game, but HuK showed excellent unit control. I felt like HuKs unit control was good overall, but a couple tiny mistakes reveal the unforgiving nature of the matchup. His unit control and multi-tasking looked excellent though.. if he can clean up the dumb little mistakes he will go far. I'm confident that when he is done with Korea he will come home a much more accomplished player than Idra, which really isn't saying much because Idra's success in Korea was just a little higher than jack shit when you compare it to how he degrades his opponents skill after losing to them.

He's definitely a top protoss, some hijinks versus koreans but some of the best were trampled by "Code B" koreans. HuK earned his spot through blood and I hope he'll continue to perform. MLG does not have some of the best people buddy.

Time to leave it alone and if you're a doubter, well you can have the last laugh when he doesn't do well, but for me I will be cheering him on in Code S and hoping we see more success!
