Seriously, what if some 10 year old kid was nearby there and happened across your cigarettes and lighter. You've just passed on your addiction.

Interesting picture though, I really hadn't known that smoking affected so much in your body. Hell, I mean, I knew it fucked you up slowly, but the fact that it takes almost 15 years to completely be back to the health of a non-smoker is pretty damn surprising. Best of luck once again, and I look forward to seeing future blogs from you with updates on your progress. :D

I had to witness my grandpa dying from cancer. He was a smoker all his life and died in his early 60s, shortly after my great grandpa, who had never smoked, died at age 93. My grandpa's death was so drawn-out and painful that it made my uncle stop smoking cold turkey. Just remember the cons whenever you feel the urge.

Smoking isn't a reward, its a death trap! Make sure you take deep breaths anytime you can remember. It'll remind you of the freedom of smoke free living.

Sounds like a lot of bullshit, but do it. GLHFGGWP And the first days and weeks are not the hardest. The hardest is that one cigaret that you want to smoke for fun. Just for old times sakes or with friends, in a bar with a chick that smokes ... all that good jazz. THATS hard.

I do suggest seeking medical programs for quitting though, three of my smoker friends ALWAYS claim they'll quit from the very moment and on and end up smoking within 20 minutes anyway. Not a smoker myself so I don't know the difficulties, but it seems like personal determination is often not enough.
