yeah... doubleracing in sc2 is as dumb as it was in sc1 i played a lot of 2v2 since beta and since the game came out dachef is right, there are a few maps where the ramps are wide openings and double 6pool = instant gg. but in some cases, a double 6 pool can get defended. I remember one game where it was double zerg and they both 6 pooled my friend. I told him on vent to save a worker, and i just sent him 400 minerals. I had enough speedlings to overrun one zerg and contain the other. we just expanded and took the entire map and won. oh, something im wondering... will there be allowed leaving? or pooling? there was another friend that i did 2v2's with and what we did was go double toss. one of us cannoned and pooled money and just rushed voids. ive also had a lot of people that would just leave on me but i ended up having twice the income and still won. so say at the 2v2 tourney, i had a friend and they just left every game, is that legit? cause its still a strategic method. and how about giving unit control?

Leaving defeats the purpose (and allows for a crazy early 6 pool), but sending minerals and gas should be allowed. Still debating the double racing thing. Seems like it's only a concern for Z/Z on certain maps. Instead of banning double Zerg, we could review the map pool and limit it to the maps without huge gaping chokes (which, I think, rules out most shared base maps).

Seems like a better idea then gutting a good chunk of the map pool. lololol, steve's solution to that, just have one zerg 10 fast gas speedling pool, and have your zerg partner 6pool 10pool+6pool is no different from 6pool+6pool soon someones going to say something like... nr5mins or something, lols

Everyone tell your friends and your friend's friends, This tourney is so small its probly gonna turn into a LAN party afterwards and I know most of you who are gonna show up havent signed up yet so why not! theres no buy-in just sign up and give it a shot! Depending on how long this tourney runs, might run a BW tourney afterwards
