Yeah its always cold in Delaware at night.
I remember I went to texas one time, and it was midnight, and I was just so confused as to why it was STILL warm!
If you have a dog, I'd suggest sleeping with them. As long as you have a blanket nearby on the ground, the floor isn't that uncomfortable and its colder than on a bed(heat rises, so floor is coldest.)
That's what I do anyway...

I'd gladly switch places. It's -15 Celsius now as I'm trying to sleep.

Winter in Australia is not that fun either... the WIND IS really powerful and can blow your hairstyle to another direction, WHOOSH!

I've tried to fall asleep twice in the past hour, but the heat is making it really difficult.
Anyone else experience problems like this? Even with the windows up and the fan going full force, the heat and humidity is keeping me awake.
TL:DR - WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA DURING SUMMER SUCKS It's about 20 degrees down here in melb atm, not too bad. Where are you at?

No air conditioning? In that case closing the window isn't going to help lol
Best you can do is what I did in college and just be directly in the path of a fan, but it still sucks.

get a good fan. Once i got a fan i slept at least 50% better

Sounds like our summer, really hard to just go to sleep normally. What works for me is drink a beer quickly while you're taking a shower. Much easier to doze off, but sometimes, I'd wake up in the middle of the night and have to repeat the procedure.

Same here, but I have AC ;D
Now... the bill in the end of the month wont look pretty D:
One trick you can try is to "attach" your fan in your window in such a way the fan draws the cool from outside to inside your room.

You should be able to get a small fan for very cheap (when stores open I suppose) that you can position pretty much anywhere and plugs into a normal wall outlet. Point that thing right at you as you sleep. Should help somewhat.

you can also try wetting a teatowel, putting it in front of the fan. homemade airconditioning. Also having a cold shower can help. or smoking a cigarette

I was under the impression Australia was underwater by now?
In all seriousness, would love to switch places. The "slightly cold wet season" has started again in the Netherlands, it will probably continue till July. Only to start again in September.

>.> I'll trade you anyday, it's currently -24*C in Canada.

you're going to die if you turn on the fan and sleep
