i totally agreee. eversince i followed dexter from the very beginning, i feel that there are lots of things happening in each episode (well except for some in season 3) and these make the show really interesting. i guess, this is one of the pro's in watching just 12 episodes for each season.
i hope quinn will not end up like doakes - being framed up and killed (or even go to jail). if that happens, it's going to be boring! i don't want to predict what will happen on the finale... i just want to enjoy what will happen next! i can't wait for next week!!!

Its also possible that If she does find out, she will want Lumen to leave town, which would be one way of writing her out of the show. If she learns about Dexter though, I can't imagine him telling her everything including the Bay Harbor Butcher thing, cause I don't see her forgiving him for framing Doakes (who was a good cop). The dynamic is different from the novels. Yeah, I'm wondering how they're going to write Lumen out. I'm not sure if I would like her around more permanently. I like the character now and what she brings, but I think ultimately I would want Dexter to have someone like Rita to bring him into the light. If Lumen and Dexter get together permanently then she would be too much of an enabler. I'm definitely cheering for Dexter to become "human."
What I think will happen with Deb is that she will find out about Dexter, but only in that he helped Lumen with the killings. I don't think she'll quite find out about all of Dexter. It'll make their relationship rocky, but I think in the end she will understand and support him. They've been hinting at the fact that Deb is comfortable with the vigilante. I think if that's all she knows about Dexter and she thinks that he's only doing this for Lumen then everything will work out.

Emily Birch is now a potential scapegoat for number 13, potential for No-one dies but Jordan Chase ending.

I can't believe I didn't even think of that. I think you're spot on.

True, and maybe they'll frame Liddy as the accomplice.

Once Quinn finds that Liddy is dead, he will know Dexter is the one cuz Liddy was on to him... cant wait for the next episode!!

It's possible she just decides to go back to Minnesota. They've never really fully explained why she ran away in the first place and they spent decent enough time talking about it that it seems unlikely it won't come back up.

Can't forget about the drop of blood that fell on Quinn's foot! My bet is that it will be used to pin Liddy's death on him.
Maybe it'll bring about some storyline where Dexter feels he should come forward for Deb

Didn't she run away because of that whole wedding incident?

did it show Masuka(probably not spelled correctly) getting into the computer and seeing Lumen and Dexter with the knife? If so, how will dexter get around that?

? Masuka was watching the 12 DVDs the barrel people taped (13th got jacked by dexter). The video of Lumen+Dex with the knife was taped by Liddy and was on the laptop Dexter threw into the ocean.

I think he's referring to the finale previews. At first I thought that as well, but I think they were just replaying the clip of liddy watching the footage from before.

I was talking about the preview.
I think it is pretty important that Dexter through the computer into the water and took all the rest of the evidence. I read online that water does not necessarily destroy a harddrive. If masuka sees it he could just think that Dexter is into a weird sexual fetish and Masuka would def understand that :-) However, if he turns it over to Deb it might help her bust Dexter.

lumen just says she wasn't ready to settle down as a married woman, so she took a trip to miami to be free, but ironically was captured by the jordan chase rape group. there wasn't a whole lot of detail to it. owen shows up in episode 8 if you care enough to comb it for more details, but im pretty sure she doesn't say much about it.

hmm... i'm kind of liking this emily/liddy thing going down as the vigilante/accomplice.
