IMHO he wouldn't be out of place amongst, and is far more interesting than, many commentators employed by major sports channels. He's like the love child of Alan Partridge and Day9.
Love it!

Like Ziggy said TB brings fantastic energy to casting. He is just so crisp and he never goes on tangants. Hope to hear much more from this guy ^^

But still, they both don't bring any analytical depth to the game. Tastosis shows the thought processes that undergo through the players. That is way more exciting than just a reiteration of a battle in words. TB Brings an entertainment value that no one else has.

That is way more exciting than just a reiteration of a battle in words. That is why most shows have 2 casters. TB is lacking on the analytical depth, but it is still sufficient. However, he brings the most entertaining commentary I've ever experienced. He is like the Korean commentators in English! Hopefully TB will find a nice co-caster and it will be perfect!!!

I don't think Total Biscuit would work all too well with Day 9 and I don't think he would be very well accepted but I could be wrong. (Maybe he already has done something like this and it worked?) Either way I think its great with just him tbh.

The combination would most likely not be awesome due to the totally different casting style of these two. Both are "main commentators" and thus they would endlessly talk over each other. Was awesome that Day9 didn't pick that game so we could see TB cast pure awesomeness ^^ You mean the "Hukkership" of course, right? One of my favorite quotes from TB: [After TLO killed a queen of Scruffy]: Yes this is chess, Ladies and Gentlemen, and TLO is the king. ... delivered in TBs horserace commentating style. Brilliant! http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/11097941 The match starts at 46 mins.

Although it would be sad for us losing a great caster, it would be a much better career move for him.

He is self-employed as the Cynical Brit since a few years now, so I guess it's working out.
