What is SHOUTcraft?
SHOUTcraft is entry-level commentary, presented in a jargon-free, play-by-play style. It is about entertaining low-level/non-players with easy-to-understand and exciting eSports commentary, giving them a gateway into the wonderful world of Starcraft 2 eSports and it's higher level play and analytical commentators. It is solo-cast live by TotalBiscuit, covering tournaments and arranged 1v1s and King of the Hill formats in regular weekly shows.
Every live match also VoDed on Youtube in HD!
Yes indeed. This was the aim with the initial incarnation of SHOUTcraft but it didn't work out due to technical issues. Now every match played live can and will also appear on my Youtube channel in 720p.
If you want to participate in a sponsored showmatch
Obviously these are going to be fairly limited in terms of who can participate. The sponsors are looking for people who can bring in good viewer numbers. If you think you can, are a fairly well-known/respected player and want a chance at earning some quick cash, drop an email to shoutcraft@cynicalbrit.com and let me know. Previous examples of showmatches include rANDY vs Pureball, sponsored by Aquatuning, where 1 player walked away with £100 ($160) for 90 minutes of play, plus their matches got approximately 300,000 views on Youtube.

I think your absolute main MAIN ability is your way to carry interviews though, making even the most socially awkward WoW-raiders seem human and reasonably comfortable on stream. I really hope you can do some co-casts with SC/SC2 profiles as guest casters as well as some interviews.
I really like how the best of the old WoW scene is transcending into SC2, JP and the MLG crew (vhell won't be able to stay away for long), WoW-riot with its WWE style gossip coverage and now you!

High praise indeed, thank you.
I want to apply that interview experience to SC2. We're trying to build a small roster for SHOUTcraft, whereby the audience gets to know the players as people. We'll bring them onto the livestream to talk about their matches and yes, hopefully interview some of the top players and community members as we go along.

I would love to do this. Around #15 in my platinum div and looking to become a top player in SC2, I plan to at least reach top 8 in my division over spring break next week. Shooting you an email, I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I'm only 14 :<

Age doesn't matter, put on a good show and nobody will care if you're 8 or 80.
Just a quick note to those of you from the EU, I really should have mentioned this earlier, due to the region-locking, we're currently restricted to broadcasting US players only. I have both an EU and US beta account but Emperor does not. We are actively working to change that and broadcast EU players as well and we'll keep your application on file until that happens.

I haven't heard any of your previous work, mainly because starcraft the only game i really follow, but it seems like you're really going to help alot of people. Good to see people attempting to gain more casual fans, because ultimately that's what will generate support.

The scene has so much potential, we just wanna help out. I think it's important for anyone who's contributing to it in this manner to realise their place. One has to ask oneself 'what am I doing this for?'. Thanks to things like Youtube, you get people just putting out so much content for the sake of it, lacking quality control or any sense of what they want to achieve other than 'more viewers!'. This hasn't happened with Starcraft 2 yet. The thing which will benefit the SC2 eSports scene in the long run is that right now, there are a very limited number of commentators, who all seem to have found a niche and are starting to become established. Quality control amongst these guys is relatively high so we'd like to feed more players into that scene which in turn can benefit everyone. A trickle-up effect if you will, setting a solid foundation for things to come.
Why come into someone elses garden and trample their flowerbed when you can help them grow it?
