I can't find a reason to use present perfect for that statement xD. Thanks. It would only make sense if he's changing his name XD

I guess it’s halfway between saying “my name is” when it’s not in fact a name and using “my nickname/handle/ID/alias/stage name is” or any other overly specific and complicated expression. Thinking about it an image of Batman popped into my mind: “Right now in this moment you can call me Batman!” *headbutt* Yes, being exact isn’t always the best idea xD. Well, it's an idiomatic expressions that newscasters sometimes use when they close the broadcast. You'd never use it at the beginning of something. Also, the meaning of idiomatic expressions often goes beyond the meaning of the component words.

We already appeal to a wider audience. Show gets way more views than something like State of the Game. Last week had about 180,000 views on Youtube.

Oh if only we had more of the "I don't like this so I'm just not going to assume it's not for me and not watch it" folks in the gaming "community"

IEM got 60k viewers and had lots of money thrown into the production. Tournaments should think things through to make bigger differences from player streams (Stephano easly 10k) and this kind of fun tournaments. An MLG should have 150k viewers in the finals. That would be real life balance.
