I’ve published the September update of the E-Rankings StarCraft 2 World Ranking, including all tournament results through August.
The main ranking uses a rolling 12-month window. Players earn points through tournament results, with prize money helping determine each event’s weighting. It is intended to measure sustained competitive performance rather than predict who would win a series today.
September World Ranking:
1. herO - 11,409 points
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
herO remains #1 for a third consecutive month. Solar makes the biggest move in the top ten, climbing from #7 to #3 after winning WardiTV Mondays #100 and finishing runner-up at PiG Sty Festival 8.0.
A recurring criticism of the main ranking is that 12 months can be too long when discussing current strength. That is a fair point if the question is recent form, so there is also a separate ranking covering only the past three months. It looks like this at the top:
Form Ranking
1. Serral - 2,665 points
2. herO - 2,135
3. Cure - 1,658
4. Solar - 1,598
5. Clem - 1,522
