I dont like synthetic chem or being in the lab What i want to do is work with proteins on a theoretical medical level, so i've taken every bio class available to me. This article was done during the writing of my bachelors paper (about MT's and alzheimer's) and i guess you can call it bioinorganic. I'm going to travel south east asia for the next 4-6 months, and during that time i'll probably decide what direction to take on my Studies. Dont think it really matters before my Dr. Phil tho. Yeah, I kinda understand that. Synthetic chemistry involves a lot of wet-lab works so if you don't like to stick around in the lab, it would be painful to study it. But well, I guess the postgraduate study would require us to work really hard anyway, total synthesis field is just working too much, lol (oh and the field is also very notorious too ). From your post; if you like the works you did for the paper, then I think the physical-bio-(in)organic field should suit you (yeah, if I remember correctly, there's a field like this one ). From what I learned, the field deals with the underlying physical properties in organic reaction within the organisms, like how the enzymes work from physical chemist's point of view. It's theoretical, yet applicable too. Oh and if you plan to travel to Thailand, you can pm me and I might be able to give a tip or two for traveling in Thailand. Hope you have fun with your travel too.

Go home and google yourself....that's kind of cool! Unfortunately I share a name with a famous jazz guitarist so that trick would never work...

Our group works on MT (Metal binding by ESI-MS, emission and NMR) - I have forwarded the paper to them to read
