Definitely an easy feat. If I were him, I'd instead just sort SC2Ranks by win ratio and go down the list until I find a player that's a) over 55%, and b) has over 500 1v1 games played, and try them out in some practice matches. Keep in mind that when Boxer scouted players for his Orion team, he took the absolute top of the top Gamei players. Asking for 1800+ players is like scouting the top ~30% or so of Diamond. your dumb, maybe trying taking your own advice. sc2ranks lists random player i found on sc2ranks : http://sc2ranks.com/kr/81867/GungSouL GungSouL who is spot on 1800. Is ranked #1,394 regional http://sc2ranks.com/stats/league/kr/1/all 16,977 players in diamond 1v1 korea Dividing that out it = ~8.2% Top 8% and Top ~30% of diamond is a huge fucking difference. FYI, 1800 >> the korean GSL commentator (not 박준규, who posts here, but the other one, forgot his ID) so where is this coming from? I am all for with the "koreans are doing better in SC2 than NA specifically, that I completely agree. There are more top level players there in the general, one would expect so from the culture. However I don't understand this High Diamond in NA = Low Diamond / Plat in Korea. People who have been playing on Korean server,(one of not shure who said it) TLO, HuK, Jinro etc said in previous interviews that THERE IS NO FRIGGEN DIFFERENCE. Sure the korean server may be the toughest but I'd imagine the gap to be at the point of ~500 points range. Even that I believe is stretching it. Can we stop this korean fanboyism until we have people who ACTUALLY ladder there and have solid results? Idra sitting at 2500 for NA serve rand 2300 for KR server. This doesn't factor in the fact that IdrA did not play on the NA account for a LOOONG time and thus when he got back in he was paired againts people that are below his level who climbed above him in points.

On a more less serious and quite entirely unrelated note (saw this when browsing the current top in terms of points on the KR server), it seems the name change should be handled with care. + Show Spoiler + Or did he intend to misspell it since he's not a Prime anymore?

And 1800 is a requirement for joining. He didn't say he'd take every single person over 1800. But now he won't get every bronzie in Korea trying to join.

Though I don't know how good a strategy it is to have multiple contenders in the same team. He said it himself, he thinks FoxeR is better at the moment. With the prize money that high at GSL, it might be hard to avoid internal rivalries.
