Who's saying he won't take the 3000 players? That's just the minimum. And also consider the fact that the game is still relatively new, lots of new players starting out and maybe not massing games to reach the highest level yet, I find it quite plausible to find some players with real potential at the 1800 mark.
Well yeah if someone has 1800 with few games then definately he can be good, but if someone has played a lot games and still 1800 then it's nowhere a good player imo, even at korean ladder.

you dont get more points for playing more... Bonus points are uneffected by the amount of your games (as long as you play enough to spend them all, of course).

I'd even go so far as to say 1800 in Korean is 2300 in NA/EU/SEA etc.

To the mark of 1800 Diamond Points:
If you visit http://www.sc2ranks.com and sort the Korean Diamond Ladder, then there are "only" 653 Players with 1800 Point or above...
In NA: 790 In EU: 754
In EU Place 653: 2020 Points In NA Place 653: 2026 Points
Worldwide thre are 2471 People with Diamond 1800 or more Points

Yup, that's what I was thinking as well. There's plenty of people out there that could be great if they just had the proper training partners and teachers. And who better than BoXer?

Great idea, as they might be a few great players uncovered, also while also having a big group of players isnt always bad as only the ones who win many in house tourneys or consistenly play well will ever play in any clan matches if they do play.
Also great for a team spirit having many players involved.

You don't suck by any real-world standards (top 1k is decent). You do need a reality check though.
If you mean "you suck" relative to your full potential, that's something intangible that nobody other than you can ever judge, so it's a pretty useless metric.
If you mean "you suck" as in "ain't gonna win the GSL", well, an amateur running a marathon in 2:30 isn't exactly record-breaking either, but you'd still be delusional to call him slow. Especially if someone posts that time on a public forum and says he sucks -- for no particular reason, with no further context.

Team and Clans concept are very different, I think it's pretty cool that virtually any good player (non-pro) can join.
edit : I'm a zealot.

This could be the beginning of something freaking huge wish anyone good luck thats aiming to join.

I don't think the members of the clan are gonna get paid, more likely just the team members and this is still just a clan from what I understand.

is this slayersboxer or fouxer?

I assume only korean's can join? Either way its not like I know korean lol so that itself probably eliminates me, cant really apply to something, when I dont even know where the application is XD.
