I know it seems unfair, but thats life. Start believing in karma or something if you want revenge, dont push your luck. I'm glad you're OK funkie. How are you feeling mentally about this hole thing? I'd be curious to hear if the first "but i loved my iphone" reaction transforms into anything else. Thankfully I've never been mugged, let alone at gunpoint, so I have no idea how you might feel. Ah, er I really don't know. I'm like, in the downfall of the whole thing. By the time he mugged me I was calm, and just kept on walking, when I finally realized that I was mugged, an adrenaline rush came into me, and I was like sort of shaking a bit but not too much, I got a hold of myself and well, what gone it's gone.

Is this common in Venezuela? And what does the police care about instead of this?

I've had my house assalted when I was 7 and a gun pointed to my head, they took all they could. My family reported it to the police and about 1 week later they took the motherfuckers down.

In other good news, I just bought my ticket to see Estopa on Nov19. Weeeee, bittersweet day. my cousin got robbed on the subway with like 50 people all around him. the robber also took his iphone. everyone on the subway just kept reading their book. they saw what happened and looked away. toronto, canada. canadians arent as nice as you all thought. (or as brave apparently, but thats w/e; cant blame them) anyway; my cousin called his telephone company and told them he got robbed; he got a brand new one. the ppl on the telephone were really sympathetic. (those were the nice canadians)

Went to the police but that didn't really do much, as they never found the guy.

I've been robbed at gun point in my own home, and I concur. I only sat there stewing with my arms wire tied fucking angry and looking for a chance to overcome them. I'm glad I didn't have that chance, because it woulda been fucking dumb, but that's how I felt. Glad you are ok man.
