That's exactly the point, it was a non-issue, so why remove the rare option? Why? Sometimes a tournament would come down to a fast furious micro battle, now it won't. The game is more boring, for what reason? No one thinks it will change anything much. But there's no upside to the change.

The patch is clearly inversely proportional to the slope of the secant intersecting the congruency of the dt vs banshee contingent while in reality is in actuality most uniformly related to the metagame in that outside variables are not being taken into account.
In other words let's see how it plays out then complain.

and wow. i wont just throw in here that voids are too weak, i will just give some examples;
some people were screaming, that void-rays were imbalanced when charged... so a voidray did 25/0,6 = 41,666666 dmg
so a stimmed marauder does 20 dmg so a voidray had the same output CHARGED as 2 stimmed marauders.
and hydras/ marines just owned them. the only really use was in pvp. so now this is also gone.
now they do less dps vs light as ONE marine and they do the same dps to armor as ONE marauder (both stimmed) -.-. this is horrible. i mean, if rays were imbalanced, you would have seen them even more frequent than marauders who are totally balanced.
i´m actually pretty pissed right now. the depot nerf though is soooooo welcome. terran cheeses were just terribly strong.
the roach buff is totally strange.... now zergs, that own terrans right now as far as i´ve seen since gsl, will own them even harder without the reapers and the buffed roaches.
and as for pvz..... well, i heard koreans think that pvz is totally p-favored.... well, havent really seen any totally imbalanced game in gsl but could only be my fault. i really have problems vs. hydra-roach-corruptor armies for some reason i myself cannot explain.
anyways. as a matter of numbers. right now on the eu server, there are a lot more protoss users than zerg-users. though the count of players in the top 200 is identical as far as the last top-list release of blizzard goes.
with roaches being buffed this could become really tough.
bear in ming though, the gsl has been won by a zerg (with no toss in the semis), the iem has been won by a terran i think (with 3 terrans in semi-finals, i think), in german eps, the best 2 players are terran. tester got eliminated before ro 64.
i really dont want to whine, because those really could only be temporal problems with the metagame these days. but i fear, that all those nerfs in every patch so far, pretty much are a too heavy of a burden for protoss.

Here's a thought. Could it be that dropping the power of VR will allow Blizzard to later power down the Viking? (Particularly if Protoss wind up being destroyed in the air.) Vikings have a ridiculous range, but could range have be reasonably dropped given the former power of the VR? Blizzard has in Beta implemented one part of the change, waited to see how it worked before implementing the next step.
Could Viking range reasonably be dropped given the current VR nerf?

At last, VR nerf. I 've been noobily thinking that the lvl2 damage are very very overpowered for a long time... Ruining all team games.

Logic failz on the supply b4 rax. It seems 14 years in SC1 wasnt enough to prove that it was ok to build rax b4 supply as it didnt change much.

I think the Zerg balance is better, with this I can see them having an easier time in GSL2. Hopefully it'll give Cool and other talented pros the edge so more of them make it into the Ro16. But its good for casual players too. Not too happy with all the Void Ray nerfs =/
