Nop never had raw spicy crab I assume you mean japanese food. Japanese food excels in the quality of the ingredients and making that the main character of its dishes. I would avoid anything complex and go for the simple things. That is why sushi will never be matched outside of Japan. Anyways, I think going to a proper Tempura bar (one where they make the food right in front of you) would be a good experience for most people, and should be edible to most. (since many people would frown upon raw ingredients) | ||

hmm, Japan has the highest quality fruits ever so I'd check those out (seriously expensive though). Oh also, the basement floors of the department stores are wonderland for food  | ||
