Good point! It would actually be interesting to find out about the actual matchups so I did this summary:
TvP: 11 matches (8 terran wins and 3 protoss wins) TvZ: 7 matches (5 terrans wins and 2 zerg wins) PvZ: 7 matches (4 protoss wins and 3 zerg wins)
PvP: 4 TvT: 1 ZvZ: 1 Winning by default: 1
Not stating anything about balance, just providing the numbers.

There were other weird things about people wearing t-shirts of teams they are not known to be from. DAVIT weared the same t-shirt as Tester, Cool and Clide (who are all from Team SCV Life), and also Artosis wondered whether one guy was recruited by NEX on the spot. Maybe the teams have provided the organizers with t-shirts and/or stickers, which sometimes appear on the wrong guy?

oGs players has Teamliquid logo on t-shirt and Teamliquid players had oGs logo on t-shirt... Pretty old news =P

Thanks. + Show Spoiler +It will be nice (and quite possible) to see Ensnare in the finals or semi-finals, showing the teamliquid logo on the screen throughout the whole match - and those are going to be longer, with more pauses.

The ro64 has been full of good players and surprising upsets. Can't imagine how exciting the rest of the tourney will be. Kinda makes me want to get really good and move to Korea.

Thought I'd do some stats for my first post ever here ;-) Enjoy if you like this sort of thing!
FIND IT HERE!
These are the stats I put in 4 tables from the Ro64 and on: - How are the races represented in each round - How are the major teams represented in each round (only teams that had 4 or more players represented in the Ro64 are counted, rest is under "other") and their win/loss rate of players in rounds - Representation of different matchups through rounds and totals of different matchups over whole Ro64 - Win/loss ratio and percentages for the mixed matchups (the A over B is a little awkward, but I couldn't think of a better representation, sorry :-) ) and total A over B matchups won over the entire Ro64
If you see any anomalies or errors, please let me know. I will try to update these tables after later rounds asap. Keep in mind that some of the fields now show errors or incorrect data (some total fields) because not all data is filled yet from future rounds.
Yes... I like stats! And... spreadsheets ;-)

Thanks :-) I added another "B-part" to the last table showing the total amount of wins per race, per round, not counting mirrormatches and also the % of total matches won in that round over matchups that featured that race (per race).

That Ensnare match was brutal...

Recommended games, anyone?

Hopefully not the epitome of abusive Terrans. It's funny reading that post right before seeing the results
Is Zenith the first Zerg that beat a Terran and advanced so far?

It would be a lot more work, but also a lot more relevant if you actually did matchup results. So if a TvZ is won by the T, that's recorded in your table as 1, but the result could be 2-0 or 2-1. The final result says something, but it doesn't say everything.
So basically, add the total games won per racial matchup, rather than the BO3 results, and have those stats. So if a game ends T 2 - 1 P, then that's 2 for T and 1 for P, rather than 1 for T and 0 for P. (This would want to be in a separate table to the BO3 results).
Get to work boy! (Also thanks for the work).

Why post nonsense just to try to come off neutral? The imbalance is apparent even without GSL the only reason people are bringing it up in GSL threads is because of all the claims that korean zergs are doign better.

The final match with HongUn vs Cezanne is very entertaining, I feel . You should watch all the games in that match.
