If you're not familiar with fingering the Bm7, try to follow how he does it in the video

It's very useful to be able to learn songs by ear. If you're able to find the key then you should be able to find the notes, and from there it's a matter of trying find what chord was played in what shape. I think it's well worth trying to figure out songs that way, and it's definitely a valuable skill to learn

You're just being a musical snob. I don't see anything wrong with what he's doing. The first 2 years I spent playing guitar I just practiced scales and looked up tabs of my favorite rock / metal songs to play their riffs and whatnot. Its really fun and you feel like a badass

Also the last chord sounds more like A#11 to me. Overall it would be (slightly changed the Em voicing too): 0------------X------------X------------X------------0------------0 7------------7------------7------------X------------4-------------2 6------------7------------6------------5------------0------------ 4 7------------7------------7------------7------------2------------ 3 5------------X------------X------------X------------X------------0 X------------7------------7------------7------------X------------X You're just being a musical snob. Its really fun and you feel like a badass While there's definitely nothing wrong with playing guitar for fun and doing whatever you want to do, exclusively using tabs and not your ear is a bit like 4gating every zerg you play. After a while you get bored and your game as a whole hasn't improved much.
