I really enjoy the feeling of a hard pad, but I don't like how particles gather up on the pad and it seems to get "dirty" (edit: By taht i mean full of dust and i have to brush it off constantly) fast making me have to wash it or brush off constantly(don't know if this is a problem with hard pads or not). Plus it's getting kinda old so i would be interested in a new one, If it's hard or soft doesn't matter. I read through this thread and am thinking about possibly buying the "Razer Sphex" mouse pad or the "Razer Goliathus" But before just simply buying a mousepad and possibly being unhappy with it. I thought I'd ask TL first Basically what mousepad do you recommend for someone who will mainly play sc2 and use a razer mouse?

I'd recommend a func f-series (10.s or 30.r), they are insanely thin (1.5mm) and that makes them very comfortable to play. However the rubber base is rather aggressive and has darkened the wood of the table over the years. Not that it matters..it actually helps, because if I accidentally move my pad around it's easy to put it back on the sweet spot. But you don't have to get a special pad for your mouse, any pad should do these days. You don't need special pads for a game either. It just depends on your personal preference. If you like a thick/thin, slow/fast, big/small pad more. There are just to many pads on the market, I guess you won't get a final answer any time soon.

Its only like 1mm thick, sticks to your desktop, provides awesome tracking and my mouse glides on it like on ice. Its also pretty cheap - about $15. The greatest mousepad I have used so far.

I just bought one of these since my desk space is fairly limited (I'm in college and everything is in my room in my apartment, so I have my TV on my long desk, too, so my computer stuff only gets half) and I'm a pretty big fan of it so far. I mean, for $7 you can get such a high quality product that this should be considered the generic standard.
