another cool thing is juggling, which isn't that time consuming or expensive to learn.
If you learn how to speed a rubiks DON'T be that lame-ass guy who whips it out at a party to try to look smart. You want to be the cool dude in the corner being like: "thats not really hard at all".... then embarrassing him and wandering off.
I agree very much with this post.
It's not just about having the skills, but knowing when to use them/brag blog post about them.

yes
learn Freestyle rap imo
I've literally never seen an actually impressive freestyle rapper (and I've looked), I think its one of those things that people just can't do well enough to ever be that amazing....like beat-juggling in DJing, its fucking hard as shit and sort of impressive on a mental level if you know how fucking hard it is, but I've never actually seen someone do it without being slightly off.
All the stuff that sounds impressive at first is the canned lines they have preprepared.
Anything as long as it's not acoustic guitar for twiddling around with at parties. I had a co-worker who used to play through conversations and it drove me bonkers. Cooking is always useful :D
almost every single girl in my drama class loves a guy who can dance
as bad as i am with girls, i'm surrounded by them in my program and they love dancers (masculine dancers)
*just because you can do the splits doesn't make you feminine. you can be masculine while still being flexible lol. its all in the confidence when dancing

Yeah, I've already bookmarked some cooking channels on youtube and basic guides.
As far as athletic skills are concerned, I'm pretty out of shape. I have a huge frame so really acrobatic stuff is out of the question, I'm too tall and broad to be a great tumbler.
I'll look into lockpicking I suppose. Rubix Cube doesn't interest me.

Have you seen 'Cooking with Dog?' I'm addicted to that damn channel. I love browsing cooking blogs. So if you find anything good please post the links. I also recommend the Goons with Spoons category on the Somethingawful.com forums.

I've been playing guitar already for 5 years.
Dudes who think they are sick cause they can play karma police on their 200 dollar acoustic just annoy me.

Rofl, reminds me of my neighbor freshman year who only knew how to play one damn song, and that was Wonderwall. Heard it almost every day from my room and almost drove me insane.

I think it's fine as long as they're not playing over people who are trying to talk to each other. It's pretty impressive (to me) to be able to play an instrument, but if it goes on for hours then it makes me want to smash it over the person's head.
