So I'm on my way to gothenburg to go to a one day music festival. I was just planning my schedule and going trough the bands I wanted to see (flogging molly, dropkick murhpys and dillinger escape plan). Well I thought I'd refresh my memory on the rest of the bands. I've listend to most of them before.

So I get to rise against on spotify and hit random. AND HOLY FUCK I JUST REALIZED I'M GONNA HEAR "DOWN DOWN DOWN" LIVE! I dont know if I'm going to be able to keep myself from laughing while screaming "down down down". Should be awesome.

Current list of bands I'll watch:
Flogging Molly
Dropkick Murphys
Dillinger Escape Plan
Rise Against

I'm not a huge fan of those bands, but it would be a very fun show. Great complimentary lineup.

I saw Rise Against 2 weeks ago here in Germany and they were pretty good.

Rise against is pretty good but imo a bit overrated, i think the song good left undone really fits starcraft better than down down down (because of bacchus (v1) osl).

Flogging Molly ftw tho, great band.

Rise Against´s album "The Sufferer and the Witness" is very very good in my opinion, not a huge fan of the newer stuff though, i´ve heard they are really good live. you are gonna have a good time for sure

same here. in three days, tmobile inmusic festival in Croatia. the thing is Rise Against is playing at the same time as LCD Soundsystem...so LCD > Rise Against. i feel kind of bad for that.

I just got home from the festival and HOLY SHIT. Do guys know how good these bands are live? Like I've seen flogging molly live before so I know they're awesome. But rise against litterally made the ground shake. Just to repeat that: they made...the ground...shake!

And dropkick murphys, are you kidding me? It was like beeing in a bar fight in a tumbler for an hour straight! I have a big banana grin on my face, most likely a small concussion and some bruises. In other words: BEST NIGHT EVER!
