The Chaser Amazing, amazing movie. Totally outshone by Oldboy (and the rest of the Vengeance trilogy), Memories of Murder, etc. but just as good if not better imo.

But the only way to truly enjoy it is watching it in the original language with the right subtitles. The English synchro is terribad and the subtitles that have been remade for the American version (why ever) are bad as well. But definitely watch the movie if you're in for an unconventional romantic vampire story. + Show Spoiler + This is a MUST. I went in not knowing anything about this movie and I loved every second of it.

Excellent movie all around, the filming is spectacular also. Another good film I saw recently, not that ''hidden'' but often overlooked.

Agreed, AMAZING film watched it after a recommendation on the other movie thread having never even heard of it before but it was fantastic, extremely pleased I watched it. Tops the western thrillers I've seen recently by far.

I watched this a year ago with my best friends. It was surprisingly good for a low budget movie. (very creative use of CGI.) The storyline may be a bit predictable, but it's still worthwhile if you enjoy very unique artwork and quirky fantasy worlds.

There are big names in it but the movie itself is so underrated. One of the best vampire films ever made. And even though film include many big names not so many people heard of it because it got lost quickly in 90's "hollywood is rising" times. If you haven't seen it you definitely should...

If you haven't seen it you definitely should... far from underated (7.4 on imdb, for a vamp movie nonetheless), and far from hidden. This plays like on all movie channels, all the time -_- (from wiki: The film was a major success, causing a resurgence of interest in the book series and sent Interview with The Vampire back onto the bestseller lists. -_-) also, the pianist is NOT a hidden one, it won an academy award and its the movie that made that guy extremly popular.

The Puffy Chair Very good road movie, not at all let down by it's obviously low budget. High-quality acting and very funny in places. Definitely worth the time, in my opinion.

The action is absolutely horrible and the acting is very sub-par. For people that are supposed to have no emotion, there sure is a lot of it flying around before it gets pointed out by the main character at the end. That poster is from badmovieplanet.com, and that movie is indeed very, very bad. As for good movies, here are some I liked. Most of these were far better than I expected them to be, although most of these mainstream picks have had a lot of hype. Mainstream: Braveheart Gladiator The Patriot Fight Club Sin City American Beauty Requiem for a Dream V for Vendetta Mulholland Dr. The Boat That Rocked (Pirate Radio) The Departed Gattaca The Hurt Locker The Prestige The Illusionist The Lookout Up in the Air Unknown/Overlooked/Indie: The Wackness Cashback Wristcutters: A Love Story Stardust All the Real Girls George Washington Undertow Snow Angels Brick Brothers Bloom In Bruges Die Welle (The Wave) Die Fälscher (The Counterfeiters) Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others)
