If I have one complaint about this game it would be the high random encounter rate
When you're on your bike on tall grass, it literally takes 3 steps for a pokemon to appear EVERY DAMN TIME. It's like they're forcing us to play the game without a bike

i thought the music was great. the elite four champion soundtrack was epic lol i fucking loved that part

Pokemon fuck yeah! Yeah gold/silver was a pretty awesome jump from blue/red as far as everything but the pokemon went. Nothing can replace the first 151. I'm mad they made these for the ds and not gba

This game is good, I have platyed it and beaten it. Its sexy and all of the changes made (especially how much they focus on the touch screen) are awesome.
IE You can skip the intro by just tapping the touch screen, there is never a time where you MUST press start/a/b to proceed forward (which you had to do in platinum). You have AUTO-RUN, no more holding down the B button while running long distances You can move Pokemon in the boxes with TOUCH screen, I know what you're thinking tiny pokemon fat finges sounds like a beetch? It's not, it moves smoothly without w/o a touch 'tensil thingy. Gary is still a cheater, so you can fight the gym leaders again and they come back in their 70's, but gay fucking oak is level 80. What a douche. Lugia-Ho-oh are the biggest bitches to catch, even if its a STAGED fight it doesn't matter if you've drugged them so up theyd agree to do it with their legendary mothers. THEY WONT STAY IN THE FUCKING BALL.
Seriously though, awesome game, the minigames are sick too.

i did and still do hear the bike theme in the shower
i wont forget playing blue version in front of the heater all night during my primary school years

Maybe it's because I'm not 10 yrs old anymore but the new pokemon just don't look nearly as cool or distinguishable as the original 151.

I preordered soul silver (mildly excited). I hope new graphics, extra content, and slight changes are enough to make it worthwhile.

I think he's talking about the first generation namely red blue and yellow. For me i have like 500 hours played on silver. I think I just might get this to rekindle the passion

RBY was in his quote, so I decided to add a "U" to talk about 3rd generation series.

pokemon's the best
hatas gotta hate

pokemon is one of the reasons I have a ds. gf claimed heartgold so i'll be playing soulsilver =)
The RBY wild encounter battle music is the ringtone of my phone. People who don't know think its just another ringtone, people who do know have epic jaw dropping moments when they hear it.
I kinda fell off after RBY so this will be new to me lol

Heart Gold/Soul Silver come out in Aus in like 1.5 weeks and I am sooo pumped. I can completely relate to all the feelings of playing the original pokemon games, all my mates and I, who haven't played pokemon since then, are going to hit it up on release date, epicness will ensue!!!
