 I always named Gary ASSMONK. I had Gold at one point, but for whatever reason I didn't get into it as much as I could the original games. Same with Fire Red. I have it, and have played a good deal through it (3-4 gyms), but just can't get myself to play it for more than 20-30 minutes whenever I boot it up. fuck I remember waking up at 5 fucking AM to use the first hint of daylight playing that game battling that girl with a Milk Cow thingie FUCKING rollback attack imba stack LOL!!! Ninja hiding GB from mom, wowowowow that was some awesome times!! SHit!!! Whenever I was sick, it was a strict rule that I was essentially not allowed to do anything. I couldn't play video games, I couldn't go on the computer, I couldn't go outside, etc.. I was allowed to read, but the GBC was easy to hide, and the better choice. It was even better when I got an SP I'd pretend to be sick (I was most of the time, but there were a few times I just didn't feel like going to school), cover myself from head to toe with blankets, turn the sound down on my SP, and go at it. | ||

Not getting HG/SS because I am soooo over this generation. Making Stealth Rock was such a mistake. Gen 1 sucked balls in terms of competitive battling, I don't get why people like it so much. | ||

Which means they're always asking to borrow my cartridge =.= There is really nothing new to HG/SS if u played Pt/D/P, aside from pokemon u've alrdy seen b4. I don't think I'll end up buying it ^^ | ||

It's like asking why do people play Starcraft if they aren't worried about skill? There's more to it than battling you know. That, and when those games came out there were no other generations to grade them by, so they were as awesome as it could get. Plus, for some reason, I feel like they play out faster, even though they're ugly now. But I definitely bought HG because Gen 2 was my favorite. It just felt amazing to play again! Especially after my mixed feelings about Gen 3 and 4. Plus they made Kanto more in depth this time around, so it's a more complete experience altogether. | ||

THE RULES: 1) You may only attempt to catch the first pokemon you encounter in an area. If you fail to catch that particular pokemon, you may not attempt to catch anymore pokemon in that area. 2) If a pokemon faints, it cannot be used in combat again. 3) No buying items from the pokemart. 4) No trading (with friends or npcs). 5) It goes without saying, but no using save/loads after a particularly disastrous battle. Have fun with saving antidotes, boys. | ||

The original idea, I think, is just the first 2 rules, only able to catch the first Pokemon you see in any area and if one faints, it must be released. I'm doing it on Red version though.  | ||

Now where did i put my legit 151 pokemon caught of blue version (yes i went to a toys R us to get mew i bet my parents loved doing that with me haha) | ||
