Again, this is based solely off of hundreds of hours of Pokemon Crystal, but there are Growlithe in the grass that you can find directly between the Sudowoodo and Violet City. I'd always catch one there before even going for the Zephyr Badge.

I did for emerald too. Skipped in Pearl, and seeing I still have 90+ hours I think I'll do another (not gonna finish though).

Is that the pokemon creator tool?

Why not just use IVs for that, EV training is so much easier than IV (training, if you can call it that).

Like a lot of you, Pokemon has a heavy nostalgia effect on me. I pretty much bought a GBA solely to play them. However, I believe my tolerance for grinding has disappeared with age, as I can no longer foresee myself playing through one of these games without cheating especially as I take a rather completionist attitude toward gaming.

I still got the battle BGM in my head, even after all these years. I remember everyone would bring their GBA or Color to school during my elementary years, all playing Pokemon(I had the Red Version). I lost interest after Silver or Crystal, though it was a great time killer.

My little brother recently purchase both SoulSilver and HeartGold(I dont know why he got both), he also got some a tiny Lugia? toy. I cant believe the massive amount of consumers still purchase it when its almost the same thing every time they release a new or remade version. D:
