If people in Norway hear my name they normally think of Satanism and church fires. The press very successfully managed to do what the Judeo-Christians have routinely been doing since the early Middle Ages, and convinced people that the persecuted dissident in question (in this case me) was a mad and dangerous devil worshipper.
I could argue that I never was a devil worshipper, but I think it is better to simply prove that devil worship is a product of the imagination of the Judeo-Christians. When you know that there has never been devil worship in any form in Europe, then you must also understand that there has never been any devil worshippers. When you know that, it should become clear that I cannot possibly have been a devil worshipper either.(read more)
Very interesting article about who the witches and Satanists actually were if you have 5 - 10 minutes to spare.
I also read somewhere else that poor hygiene in the Middle Ages is directly related to Christianity who said it was a sin to wash. Washing was an important part of paganism and is why it was considered unhealthy.
Can't wait for the release of Belus in March so soon now.
Was listening to Ozzy Osbourne on Howard Stern few days ago. He said mumbled this (pretty close to what he said) " We didn't know black magic actually existed when we created black sabbath. We didn't know what the fuck we were doing. We just wanted to make scary music".

youre misguided
first of all varg wasnt much of a poser, he truly wanted to change things around. In this retrospect his music was different. Black metal of that era was racist and anti-christian, varg just couldnt use the profanity of "satanism" as a life goal for himself so he concentrated on nationalism. Thats what was causing the tension between him and euronimus in the first place. mayhem toured all over the place.
he wasnt just rebelling, this isnt nirvana
churches burned, people died. Shit was real. Thats why that infamous "true black" wont ever be reconstructed

also what does the blog title have to do with anything? isnt this about burzum instead of satanism?
funny how you linked nocturnal mortum here, would varg approve? they just lowly slavs arent they?

At op@ you should post the song from burzum that goes "this is HUH, WOW"
you mean This is War?
Well I put Satanism since it is what the pagans were accused of. No Varg has nothing against Slavs. Slavs also practised this ancient religion and I think I read something about it existing the longest in Russia right up to the Bolsheviks took over (don't quote me on that) I am 21.

They were in the same band. Varg was the bassist of Mayhem, Euronymous was the guitarist.
his music was very very bad, i don't care about his political beliefs or his stabbings or church burnings or what not, i only want to listen to musicians for their music.

and he's a huge racist retard anyway
music was revolutionary, burzum was what really made black huge. They got more attention than they ever needed
Varg changes his views, opinions and beliefs every few years it seems. Whether or not he's always stood for nationalism and paganism is highly questionable, but you can't really prove him 100% right or wrong on that one. Gotta hand it to him, he does have a way with words and I enjoy his music as well as his writings.
Just recently he stated in an interview that he is indeed a racist, but doesn't actually "hate" anyone.
Can't wait for Belus either, curious to see what Burzum sounds like after 11 years of inactivity.
