Flash: "I hope to see Jaedong in the finals."

"I initially wanted to go for 3 consecutive bunker rushes."
- This is your first ever MSL finals.
▲ I am very glad. But I was still not fully awake so I wasn't able to express my happiness. Deep inside, I was very overjoyed. I have climbed so high, so I have to work even harder to produce good results.
- Are you sleeping a lot because of fatigue?
▲ Yes, and I'm still not feeling 100% yet. Lately, I haven't been able to get good sleep at nights. My condition isn't that good because I was too used to sleeping and waking up late. I will have to learn to manage myself better.
- You have successfully entered the finals of both individual leagues.
▲ I have heard that there are hardly any players who have managed to get into the finals of both individual leagues in the same season. Only great players have successfully pulled this off, so I am very glad that I am able to catch up to such players. I will be extremely happy to win both leagues, and by doing so, I should be able to bring myself to the next level.
- With the OSL finals coming soon, it must have been tough preparing for today.
▲ It wasn't easy. Judging from my builds today, you would have noticed that I was practicing more for the OSL. To me, playing against a Protoss is much harder, and the maps used in the OSL are more favorable towards the Protoss than the Terran. Also, I was really confident in my TvZ skills, and the maps used today were decent for me, so I practiced more for the OSL. If I make up for my weaknesses with more practice, then I am confident I will be able to do well in the OSL as well.
- Your build choices imply that you were planning for a 3:0 victory.
▲ I was. I felt that it would be hard for me if I didn't win 3:0. I was focusing on capitalizing on Kwanro's weaknesses. But in the second set, due to bad scouting, I lost the game without being able to do anything. Despite my loss in the second set, the third set turned out well, which was why I was able to take that game.
- You went for a bunker rush in the second and third set..
▲ I initially planned for three consecutive bunker rushes in the first three sets. I planned to do bunker rushes in the second and third set from a long time ago. I might have gone for a bunker rush in the first set if our positions were switched. My coach said that it would be extremely funny if I went for three bunker rushes in a row.
- The fourth game was similar to the first.
▲ Kwanro is a very aggressive player, which made things tough for me. But somehow, he made a lot more mistakes today than usual. I think I won rather easily when I defended his Mutalisks with my Wraiths and gained a lot of points.
- Who do you want to face in the finals?
▲ I hope to face Jaedong. I have lost to him in the past and to me, he is a very important opponent. Maps don't matter. Even if the maps are difficult, there still are players who defy the maps and win titles. To me, the maps used in the OSL are tough. I cry about the OSL maps a lot (laugh). But on the Grand Stage, I think that it is the players' skills that matter and not the maps.
- Aren't you tempted to leave your mark in history by winning both individual leagues this season?
▲ It is a record that is only held by a single person (TL Note: NaDa). I am now closer to being of similar status, so this is a very important phase for me. It will be a test of my confidence and I think I will even be able to challenge for a fourth, fifth and even a sixth title.
- You are noted for having much less titles as compared to Bisu and Jaedong.
▲ I am not thinking about that. This is not the time for me to think about other players. What matters is that I should do what I must. I feel that I have to push myself to the limit and put on a good show for all the people supporting me.
- You will now have to focus on the OSL finals.
▲ I am only going to think about the OSL finals from now on. Even until the last minute, I will only think about it.
- Any further words?
▲ I am very grateful to 815-hyung who helped me out, despite being his day off. He helped me as though he was practicing for his own match. I plan to treat him to a huge meal. I am also grateful to the Zergs from WeMade FOX, as well as Hwaseung's Jaedong. Jaedong helped me practice once for each map. I learned how to play adaptively according to different players.
