Hello, that's my first blog and i'd like to ask about something.
I'm not too much into recent games since like 5 years, so i don't know any non-Polish sites about them either. So just like topic says - could anyone recommend me good, often updated sited about games with good reviews, lots of news and good reputation, please?
Thanks in advance

Eurogamer isn't too bad and Giant Bomb is actually pretty good. Game Trailers have basically every trailer you would want and IIRC they also do video reviews of games.
Sites like Gamespot and IGN aren't too good when it comes to reviews since, while all video game reviewers tend to get biased, these two sites are generally the worse when it comes to bias. They don't even really try to hide it either.
Just throwing it out there but "Let's Plays", where a bunch of people play through a pretty old game, is a great way of finding whether or not a game is for you or simply finding games which you have overlooked. But of course it depends on whether or not the people presenting the game are actually presenting the game and not simply trying to be internet heroes and doing stupid shit.

+1
I only go to TL for reviews

I just have to say that i give 0 credits to those sites because most of the time the reviewers are paid by the game industry and they have no credibility. They hype shitty blockbuster games and don't know anything about know indie games, mods etc ... The best reviews are made by gamers not by sell outs. This is the kind of site where you will read that broodwar is an obsolete RTS and Supcom is a way better game.
If i want to know if a game is good i just watch some gameplay on youtube, then i read forums and ask a couple guys what they think about this game. For example on TL i highly regard TheYango's opinions about games ( especially RPGs ).

I'm sure you're already aware of it, but I highly suggest you check out Metacritic.
Basically the site compiles all the reviews a game is given, and averages the score. Since reviews can often be biased, it's a great tool. You'll see the averaged score given for the game, and more often than not, you'll be able to click any reviews you're interested in, and it will take you to the site's review. It will also tell you what issue and page any magazine reviews came in.
The site doesn't really do a lot news coverage wise, but it's easily one of the best places to go for reviews.

Rock Paper Shotgun is a gaming-related blog, from two or three old hands at the games journalism business, and it does keep an eye or three on the indie gaming scene, as well as more mainstream gaming.

Just ask at TL. The advice here is very good.

bit-tech.net isn't a strictly gaming website but they do quite a few writeups about upcoming games that aren't as well known as well as reviews of the bigger releases. Might want to check them out. Helpful if you like tech related material as well.

for reviews no site is that great. IGN and gamespot sorta suck (what's a bummer is that gamespot used to be SO GOOD until kasavin left and the whole gerstmann scandal). giantbomb is OK but non of their reviewers are PC gamers at ALL and their entire treatment of PC games is pretty fucking shitty.
honestly you can barely even trust metacritic any more after GTA4 became the highest rated game ever (or top 3 or something) when it sucked that bad.
gametrailers reviews are absolute garbage, its like some idiot 13 year old kid writes all their reviews.

Whenever I watch their reviews it just feels so biased... I agree with the rest: TL is your go-to!

This.
You can find games ranked by their score for whatever platform you prefer.
