Hyuk: "I decided that if it went to a Mutalisk battle, I would win."
-How do you feel about winning against Jaedong? ▲I feel much happier than I usually am when I win. I've heard that I only beat him during the finals because I got lucky with a favorable build order. This time, I won while doing the same build as Jaedong and winning in a (micro and macro)management battle.
-You seem to be in good spirits lately. ▲Lately, it feels like even time spent sleeping is wasted time. I've even been cutting down on my sleeping time so that I can practice more, especially before I played against Stork and Jaedong. I feel that if my gameplay doesn't match up to my own high standards, then I need to practice more. Although I didn't practice one build, I felt that if we got to a mutalisk battle, then I definitely wouldn't lose.
-You didn't lose your first battle. ▲Although I didn't have an advantage, I was used to fighting after taking my natural. I used what I thought was the best strategy: attacking after using up all my resources.
-Do you have any words you'd like to say? ▲s2 really helped me a lot. I prepared a lot and took a lot of time in deciding my build order, so I want to thank my coach. I feel like it's not just my own win, but a win for all of us.

Bisu: "I thought that this was the time to use a strategy-based build".
-How do you feel about winning? ▲I feel like it's been a really long time since I've played a game and since I've won. I considered trying to win with a macromanagement style game, but I decided that I want to grab everyone's attention with a strategical build and thankfully, I won.
-You were thrown off by an early harass. ▲Normally to prevent a harass, you are supposed to either put down a pylon or place a probe properly, but since it was a televised game, I mistimed it and didn't block it in time. Although he was successful at placing a pylon, my dragoon came out first and since my opponent's cybernetics core was late, I felt that it wasn't so bad.
-Did you prepare a specific strategy for your relatively new opponent? ▲I thought long and hard about this. As I sat down in the gaming booth, I was still considering if I should play a macro game. Since we were up 2:0 anyway, I figured that whatever happened, we would still be okay and so I went for strategy based on timing. Coach Kwon also thought that going for strategical play would be a good move as well.
-There are players that have 5 wins already. ▲I don't think that 2 wins is that big of a difference. The finals is very far away and there is still the winner's league so the beginning isn't that important in my opinion. I think that the most important period starts after the third round.
-Lately, the advances in zerg strategy have been stunning. ▲I've thought many times lately that playing zerg is cheating. Although it is a hard race to master, personally, I still think that it is the easiest race to play against. However, Zerg players have been preparing very well for me lately, so I think it's time to change my style. I am working on it.
-Your sunbae, BoxeR, just won in a spectacular manner. ▲I've heard many people say that he started preparing for a nuke in a situation where he wasn't at an advantage. I think that he succeeded wonderfully and his example makes me consider staying a progamer, even when I become 30 years old as well. Due to his hard work, BoxeR was able to make it into the lineup but I think that he has become a player that will be able to play televised games whenever and always be immaculately prepared.
-Any last words? ▲I will definitely win against CJ.

Boxer's Interview here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=104426
Does anyone want his interview straight from the original Korean? This guy did it from a Chinese translation iirc and it's pretty good, but I thought I'd ask. I won't be able to get to it for a few hours though, I have work soon.

yeah.. bassicially since.. GOM S4?? Bisu.. why couldn't you win EVER 07 ? It would have changed everything. JD had no chance back then in a PvZ of your calibre..

Don't cut down sleep - it's pretty frick'n important!
Good to see Bisu trying to develop another style. I wish him luck - ZvP hasn't been as enjoyable to watch lately.
Edit: Thanks for the translation. Also, the 'headlines' to an interview doesn't seem to be drawn from the Q&A - are they part of what the gamer said? If so - I'm glad, Hyuk is pretty confident!!

JD had no chance back then in a PvZ of your calibre.. rumors were that he had a flu and couldnt prepare for his match against Stork. He took quite a beating that match so I guess there was indeed something wrong with his condition, but still I agree that was the OSL he was meant to win

Bisu needs to play Hyuk more often.

Hell yea, can't wait for the revolutionist to brew up a new revolution!
Also, who is Coach Kwon??

I like how every progamer's last words in an interview are thanking others except for Bisu.

What I understand is that they are going to do a similar schedule to last season; so two rounds then one round of winner's league, then another two rounds, and finally the playoffs.
